Yawn. Good luck with that bro. Playing a game isn’t anything close to a chore.
Just agree to disagree and there are plenty of other games to play.

Good luck with what, i asked you to try and quantify your time. If you are unable to do so that is your problem, and an indication of a much larger one.

Изменено (The Hermit IX): 6/23/2019 6:55:07 PMYou need to go back and read my posts again chief. You can do the bounties while doing anything in the game you choose to do. There isn’t inflation involved. Unless playing strikes, Gambit or crucible are chores too. Spend less time typing and little more reading and you’d cut back the chore of posting the same drivel over and over. BTW I’m actually doing a chore. I’m cutting my lawn atm and I would much prefer to be doing core bounties while running a NF. Not the same at all.

That's literally not how bounties work. Unless the bounty is " get n*kills" you have to travel to areas, complete specific actions, which are never guaranteed to stack onto existing bounties or quest lines, and will often derail you to travel out of areas just to go trade in one bounty for another , notably, Forge bounties. Since this games inception, the addition of more bounties HAS and CONTINUES to require more time from players. I have zero faith and zero reason to believe the new system for grinding gear is going to somehow be MORE efficient with players time. Even the Menagere isn't designed to use players time well. The only saving grace for some is a glitch that lets them use their cup multiple times before the strike times out.

Изменено (The Hermit IX): 6/24/2019 3:12:42 AMThat’s exactly what they are. Fusion rifle kills, solar kills, precision kills at flash point. Do you actually play the game? At this point your argument is absurd. These are things you do in any activity in the game. Kill things. They aren’t many kills either. I know I play a lot more than you do but come on. Picking up bounties that are simple kill tally while you play couldn’t be any easier. Like I said I achieved 9 in 30 minutes doing basic strikes for powerful gear. I also got mods and typical stuff. It takes 17 cores to infuse a load out. That’s weapons, armor and an exotic weapon and armor piece. If you did the 30 minutes you’d have gear and the cores to infuse and mid components to buy mods. You’re being silly at this point.

I see youre still stuck on just gunsmith bounties. Good luck with that.
-
Stuck? How so? You’re not very good with reading comprehension, are you? That’s ok Stewie watch everyone else level up while you post here over and over in hopes bungie reads it and stops the core economy. Isn’t that a chore too lol?
Yawn. Good luck with that bro. Playing a game isn’t anything close to a chore.
This is not true at all, making things have less of a path to a goal each update is a chore. Games are not supposed to be just about grinding wasting a gamers time with little or no reward at all. This is supposed to be a form of loot and shoot and it's far from having the actual loot.
-
That would also be a problem. A looter shooter with limited loot, so you make everything even moderately worth while having an insanely long slog to get to.
That would also be a problem. A looter shooter with limited loot, so you make everything even moderately worth while having an insanely long slog to get to.
Yeah, and gamers leave games like this because of the lack of loot to chase and find the grind for what loot it is boring. It's not a good way to handle a game like this.

Изменено (The Hermit IX): 6/23/2019 6:05:26 PMYou’re both arguing semantics. I’ve stated multiple times I don’t think they should be part of infusion. They should be for master working weapons and armor. If you look at my toons I have all my weapons master worked for multiple load outs and have armor done as well. I grind for things and I don’t mind doing it. That’s why I have the rolls I have. They make a difference to me so I grind them. I have close to 800 forge clears and to me it’s worth it for the weapons I have. Not everyone’s cup of tea and I get that. Arguing something the developer won’t change Isn’t changing it. Look no further than the constant nerfing they do. I detest it but that will never change the fact that they will continue to do it. While it’s part of the economy players need to maximize they’re time spent. I’ve pointed out multiple ways you can obtain then without adding inflated play time. Honestly many players would whine when seeing another player with 30 master worked weapons because they felt it’s a chore to do it. More you play the better stuff you get in this game. I choose to continue to play because I love the shooting mechanics and many of the activities. Isn’t posting constantly over the same drivel a chore then too? I think some just like to -blam!- about things. I don’t view the grind for gaining master worked weapons and armor a chore. Playing a game isn’t the same as me going out to cut and weed whack my property. I’m going out to do that chore now but would much prefer to playing the game instead lol.

800 forge clears... as in 800 WEAPONS FORGED or just, hopping into forge to grind xp? Because one of those is like 50 hours, the other is about 400 hours, Neither of those is a reasonable amount of time spent on the same repeated content.

Okay, that explains everything. For me, I can't even really get in the forge but will run it here soon for tiny bit.

Изменено (The Hermit IX): 6/23/2019 11:33:23 PMJust went on a little bit ago... grabbed 3 banshee master work core bounties. Set my load out to complete them and loaded into the daily vanguard powerful gear strike. 10 minutes to do the strike and I got a set of robes at 750, 3 master work cores, mod components and completed strike bounties for Tuesday reset for powerful gear bounty for menagerie. So 3 toons, 30 minutes, 9 cores and 3 pieces of powerful gear. Not so bad for 30 minutes plus the 750 Darci that dropped and the glimmer, shards and gunsmith materials after dismantling the garbage. I think you need to learn the best way to multi task with game play time and you’ll realize that even though it shouldn’t be part of infusion, it’s not that hard to get them while doing anything in the game . Also you asked about black armory frames. I’ve done hundreds and hundreds of frames but have the most perfect God rolls of every weapon for all 3 toons, rolls I wanted for specific activities and most importantly armor sets for load outs. Black Armory gives a minimum of 3 pieces of powerful gear per toon each week. That’s direct infusion with no cores. You can get armor pieces every completion of a frame in the forges. I also usually get one or two rare bounties a week for powerful gear. Yep more armor and weapons that are powerful for direct infusion and no need for cores. I do this with dreaming city armor and weapons and now menagerie. This is how I drive toons to 750 while master working new weapons and armor. It’s the smartest way to play seeing you control what you’re grinding for and is direct infusion. Try playing that way and you’ll find yourself with tons of cores and leveled without playing 20 hours a week with amazing weapons and armor that’s rolled to enhance your weapon and super load outs.

You've already expressed you spend exponentially more time on this game than most players can. I don't think you understand how that basically makes any argument you have as to the ease of holding onto cores null. Most people do not have 3 LVL 750 characters now, most don't even have 1 Level 750, so they are going to waste cores holding onto their ONLY VIABLE GEAR. We know for a fact most players will hold onto any useful gear or builds they can because its a necessity to even keep their grind going. Bungie said that themselves, and its not due to grind inefficiency. Its a lack of TIME. They WILL use cores to keep that gear relevant. Yes, once you get to a cap, you are free to use cores for whatever, and you already have a collection of gear worth keeping, but you also expressly use a metric ton more of your time even doing that. And the logic behind cores is faulty anyway. If the game already has random rolls, the only thing people need to be doing is grinding Rolls, but the loot pool is shallower than a street puddle. The only thing its overflowing with is same build weapons and skins. And again, its not JUST cores, its ALL the bounties. They DO take more total time from players, they've become different enough to require people to spread out to different areas more often. You don't get gambit bounties in a strike do you? The more split bounty types there are and the more they nerf the viability of gear while keeping the pool so shallow, repeatedly handing people two tokens anda blue, the less any of it is worth to the players time.

Lol what or how I choose to play has no bearing on anything to do with cores at all. Look at the forge weapons on my warlock. Not just the general roll but the entire roll. Worth its weight in gold to me in the game. I’ve pointed out several times, you can attain enough cores in less than one week, by playing one toon to get powerful gear, to infuse a complete load out. That’s while earning your powerful gear. Good stuff though! You’re absolutely giving me a chuckle or two along the way 😊
