Not the competitive nature of it, but the nature of the gamemode that you die and you have to wait out for the next round. Sitting around twiddling my thumbs watching others play out the round is probably the worst way I can think about how I want to spend me gaming time.
Countdown, Elim. The only one moderately sufferable is survival because of the limited respawns, and even then I just want Randy's and then i''m out of there. I can only tolerate one or two rounds of this drudgery per night.
It seems folly that this elimination sit out style is the pvp endgame that people want. I'd rather be playing the game than sitting out watching others.
Am I all alone in this mindset?
P.S: damn I miss Rift. Rift was really -blam!-ing cool. Tactically interesting. Reminded me of Huttball in The Old Republic.

I'm not really playing much this season because there's nothing I care to chase, but Survival is the best mode in Crucible. That is just my opinion of course. I'm sure not everyone will agree.
