It's clear that gambit is not working where it is, instead of just letting it die and forgetting about it, I think that opens an opportunity to do weird wacky and interesting things with it without fear of the gambit community backlash because there isn't really a gambit community to speak of.
I'd like to see a gambit labs where invasion is taken away entirely and replaced by a one time taken boss that is added to your arena when your opposing team summons a primeval, when this taken boss is killed it full heals the primeval, but you only get one. This adds strategy as to when to heal the enemy primeval rather than just invasion spam.
That's my idea what would you guys like to see besides the obvious "remove gambit lol"

A lot of people really hate gambit but it’s honestly way more fun to me than crucible has ever been, it’s a unique concept that I find really enjoyable

Yeah, I noticed no mention of gambit in Joe's video, which means it's probably still dead. Honestly, it's not a bad mode. It's just lacking in maps, variants, and endgame loot. Like imagine a prime slayer mode were the 2 team race to see who can kill all 5 prime evils as the spawn 1 after another. Killing envoys drops motes which can be deposited to do 1 of 4 things: invasion portal, send 4 random blockers, spawn ammo chests, or team ability/super refill. Then mayhem gambit should be a thing For endgame, gambit hardcore. The enemies spawn 10 levels above you. There are more majors, mini bosses, and champions. The prime evils are the old gambit prime bosses, and winning a match has a 50% chance of getting adept weapons.

Gambit Prime armor with gambit prime armor perks.

I think it’s done with the upcoming season letting you do one core activity for the rewards of all three. They know the numbers and clearly it’s not doing well so putting more into it seems highly unlikely. On the bright side I only need 7 other people to want to play it when I do.

People have been wondering what a non invasion gambit could look like for a while and now definitely seems as good a time as any to give that a try. There has to be a ton of people who would like to casually compete at killing enemies and gambit already has a cooler foundation to build something like from than a lot of things that could be built from scratch. Definitely a good idea and good time to think about experimenting with things like that. Earlier when someone mentioned gambit I was thinking they should turn part of it into a forge like thing but competing at killing enemies strategically with no invasions really just has a lot of potential with this playerbase. Gambit has always been able to do some of the "competitive" things the game does better than pvp does due to the fact that it's PvE and so that stuff isn't only happening to people. Definitely something they shouldn't give up on unless they have to.

wtf are you talking about? gambit sees 100k players daily

Honestly i would love gambit prime back with its unique mechanics, but other than that - heavy ammo boxes only appearing after every 3rd wave of enemies - disable of heavy ammo-generating exotics, such as Aeons

No need to remove it unless they need the space. They should abandon it though. Gambit has had it's own season and three separate iterations of the mode (normal, prime, and the combined version), and people still weren't playing it. Let it be what it is and start developing an entirely new/different PvEvP mode. I can elaborate from there on what I would like, but the possibilities are anything at that point.

I think that along with your Gambit Labs idea, Gambit should be added to the seasonal content rotation like Iron Banner. When it enters the rotation, there should be all the previous loot that was in Gambit/Gambit Prime that can be focused.
