Hello I hope that I'm posting this in the right place. My team just finished Sundered Doctorine the dungeon at 11:59, and because we wanted the clear to count as still in day one, we left the activity after looting the chest. Attached I have proof that we have obtained the Contest mode clear emblem, triumph, and exotic, but have not received credit for the clear as the "mission complete" text did not appear, since we were in a hurry. As has been shown in other dungeon races and raid races, as well as being included in the official rules from Bungie below, looting the chest constitutes as a clear. All of the fireteam members must have completed the necessary in-game requirements to be able to access the activity. Once the final encounter is complete, the fireteam must loot the final chest or their finish may not be recorded. Edit: I would like to mention as well that not only did our win progress the quest related to the dungeon, but the contrary is that we still have the final boss checkpoint, even after clearly finishing and killing the boss.
