What if Bungie were to make a memorial in the tower for players that died IRL?!
What are your thoughts/suggestions?
Edit: Man there are some real heartless people in this forum. Should have expected that since this forum is one of the most hostile and trolled ones I have been on.
Thanks to those that actually commented with constructive criticism and ideas on how to get it done right.

I can imagine all the kids, teens and neckbeards killing themselves daily to get their names in the game.

I guess you saw the final fantasy stuff
-
Wtf? Yes, because one of the things on the minds of the deceased family is to let Bungie know that their loved one has died who was a Destiny player so please add him to the memorial in the game. Are you -blam!-in-g stupid? Seriously.
-
Stupid as hell... People die every day bud. Get used to it, it's part of life.
-
Maybe if it was there gamertag

Gearbox did it for a borderlands player in bordeands 2. You'd find him in sanctuary and he'd give you a purple gun.
-
Cool idea. Unfortunately this community would still complain about it because it's not what they said they want.
-
This would be far too complex to even implement into the tower. They would have to have a daily search of users by their personal information, and see whether or not their names are mentioned in anything, sorting out through the millions and millions of players is difficult. Many players might not even make it, due to some technical error or something as well. Some want their privacy, others would resent it, some might even commit suicide on a rare occasion, just to get onto this wall (no joke sadly)
-
Thoughtful idea, but way too difficult to implement and keep track of.

-
Think cod would do that for all the squeakers who said the wrong shit to the wrong people?
-
-
That would be more ignored than the cryptarch's name on my christmas list
-
Ummm...no
-
-
God no. Why? Stupid idea.
-
-
That'd be kind of creepy... And still, with a player base this huge people who play die everyday IRL, you can't do that for everybody.

Nope Nope And Nope

A real reason to dance.

Of course but brings up a lot of privacy, fairness and verification issues
