any one else realize that because Skolas had gained access to vex technology he created a distortion in time.....
Skolas said at the end of the story he had achieve true freedom the house of wolves will live forever to that extent
this in theory would mean he either
1) sent the house of wolves back in time to be a permanent house with access to vex technology way before other factions and become the strongest
or worse
2) sent back to warn Skolas of future events signifying a loop problem in the story
if they go back and wark Skolas about events he will try to stop them but if the events fail again he does what the Skolas from our time does and starts the loop again....

He probably ended up freeing himself creating a stable time loop like Final Fantasy 1 Garland/Chaos[/spoiler]

The Kell of Kells is believed to be a kell who cannot die, who cannot fall to any foe. The house of wolves is eternal, as the entire house exists in the same way as the vex- in the "time vortex". In other words, the house of Wolves exists in all of time at once. They cannot be wiped out. The house of wolves, and Skolas, Kell of Kells, they are immortalized in time itself.

Tbh Skolas is too stupid to use it correctly lol
-
Reminds me of "edge of tomorrow"
-
From what I could tell, he is saying for the rest of his house, they are free. Now knowing how fallen are, there will probably be an in-house war before things get worse for the rest of humanity and everything else.
-
Maybe he created the papal ell universe that the stranger came from where we were wiped out, maybe it was the house of wolves that wiped us out to take back the traveler, which is evil, and the exo stranger came to our universe to stop what the fallen with access to vex tech had done to us. Would explain why she hasn't allied herself with the tower and the speaker.

If skolas had warned himself, he would have not been caught, unless he created a parallel universe which wouldn't help him. If he was warned, he wouldn't have been caught, never would have trusted Varik and never would have caused us to catch him, nothing in HoW would have happened regardless of what we played. The dlc wouldn't exist.

Sending the wolves to the past will most likely only lead to the creation of the wolves themselves and probably in the creation of skolas himself. Basically saying that things will end up just as they did in the end. And if sent his troops to a time where they existed then he will probably just alter reality and create a distortion in which he would not be able to control most likely trapping him in an infinite loop. The only way skolas could truly succeed is to send his wolves to the future to a place where no one would know and guarantee their survival. Which would also guarantee his wolves freedom which could possibly lead to his freedom once again. He knows that the queen does not want him dead so he is banking on still being alive but since we kill him in the PoE anyways you can only speculate that another kell will rise in the wolves. Which could have been his plan from the beginning and that's how the wolves could live forever. But that's just a quick breakdown on my theory. XD

I still have no idea wtf is happening in Destiny's story.
-
Wouldnt him going back to warn himself make a paradox
-
HoW is the preparation for Destiny 2. Now Skola changed the time line and we will be forced to go back into the past. That means to to beginning of Destiny 1. Destiny 2 Story = Destiny 1 Story. Same Stiry, new weapons.
-
He didnt send anyone back or forward, he brought the old House into the present to bolster his forces.
-
Next dlc = same exact house of wolves dlc due to this time loop
-
Maybe he didn't send them back I. Time but rather sent them forward? To ensure that he cements his legacy. They are setting up the future to be controlled by him.
