Good Idea For Light Level Increase Efficiency Check It Out
So after the info we got on the work Bungie is doing to fix how hard it is to find ghosts and artifacts to level up I came up with an idea. Now most people are thinking that Bungie will simply increase the drop rate but from Victoria's post I think the coding is more complicated than that. What if Bungie tried adding in something that I'll just call notes for this post. There would be so many of these notes that they could in a way use these with the same math they use for the drop rate of other things. Since we don't know much about the traveler or the ghost's history, these notes could maybe have a sentence or so each in their description that make up some of that history. The puzzle of putting the story together could be its own easter egg, but I honestly think this would be fun. The notes could come with light levels so they could be infused into a ghost or artifact and maybe a feature could be added that kept record of all the notes you collect so you don't lose any of the story from infusing. The reason ghosts and artifacts drop so rarely I think is because in comparison to armor pieces and weapons there are very few of them. For example there may only be 40 artifacts or ghosts for every 500 armor pieces or something like that. Honestly though guys, this was just something I personally would enjoy so if anyone has input feel free.
