Annual pass??
First I would like to say I am not trying to disrespect nobody in the development team but what the hell is going on in the studio?
People are very disappointed with this game because it went totally backwards from Destiny 1. Adding an annual pass and charging for returning exotics is not the way to do things imo.
I’m all for paying for new content but the returning exotics should be just be thrown in the game and not behind a paywall. You guys need to earn people back and things like this are just pushing people away. Larger expansions like “the taken king” twice a year is what this game needs and people want not small DLC’s that we will chew through in less than a week.
Destiny 1 should have been an evolving game, Everything that destiny 2 has including the story should have been the annual past in destiny 1. Take a page from World of Warcraft and how they were able to stretch out one game for so many years and keep so many fans invested.
By all means I am not saying I am totally out of this but I will keep my eye open. for now it’s a no go for me but I need to be impressed a lot more to get into this pass thing.

It’s the least they could do. For now I refuse to get hyped up by my one friend still playing destiny who will be picking this up anyway. I’m done reinforcing Bungie if all they’re doing is trying to shake as much coin out of my pocket. They are really just trying to find the limit of how much the remaining players are still willing to spend now.

16 RepliesI'm willing to wait and see more details. People keep forgetting that in between TTK and Rise of Iron we got............pretty much nothing. If Forsaken is a TTK sized expansion that's good and this Annual Pass adds some meaningful content in between this expansion and Expansion 4 next year I'm willing to take the plunge. But again we need details which Bungie said they'd give going forward as we talk about Forsaken. Let's just wait and see what they're cooking up before we get all pissed off and crazy. I thought today's reveal was very promising.

You admitted you messed up with D2 and now you want us to come back pay you more money to give us what we should of gotten in the first place. Thanks I guess I’ll go to warframe! 9 RepliesYeah I’m pissed. I expected a lot more when this game came out and my expectations were relatively high, so I shelled out the 90 bucks to preorder. Now it’s like Bungie beat my ass and they’re pissing on me and laughing. I’m sorry but I’m also not sorry to be missing out on this next DLC. 70 bucks is just way too much on top of what I initially paid. For me it’s really hard to justify putting that much money into a game that I have loved for many years when I have a shit ton of great games I have missed out on, when all my attention was on Destiny. I knew it was you Fredo, you broke my heart!

2 RepliesI really can't comment on this yet. It's not really clear how it will work. If we don't get an annual pass, will we still be able to purchase the DLC one by one? And will those include the same content with the coinciding season from the pass, but just cost more per DLC? Or will the annual pass have stuff only the people who buy the pass, can get?
