Trace Rifles and Exotic TR’s need a buff

All trace rifles are arguably bad or just not worth putting on over weapon cause theres no appeal to put them on.So this is what traces need from general buff to exotic changes that makes sense Trace rifles take almost/or a full magazine to do what other weapons do in half their magazine such as killing high health targets such as elites or some champions. It would be nice to see traces in the meta or viable at least once so ill let bungie do the number math on what percentage of an increase traces need but im thinking 10% flat buff to all trace rifles in pve Another 5-10% vs elites and bosses (excluding divinity) (Ager’s Scepter)so honestly the catalyst is good and all but the fact it drains the super or the fact you have to get your super in general before using it is kinda meh. With changes and general ui additions such as weapon fill gauges for perks to activate agers should get a gauge that fills up off of stasis final blows and more off powerful combatants to long press into its overpowered form (Coldheart) even though this weapon is firing at subzero temperature its doing nothing related to the freezing cold its giving off. So why not make this a dual synergy weapon off its trait (longest winter) which instead of generating ionic traces while in its boosted damage state slows and freezes targets after picking up an ionic trace and ionic traces fill the magazine from reserves to match the term (longest winter) While (cold fusion) shoots a steady cold arc beam that periodically creates an ionic trace off of rapid kills or damaging a target for a period of time and picking up ionic traces boost this weapons damage (Prometheus) just aint doing well though incandescent was added which is good. Prometheus needs the storch stacks to apply faster instead of prolonged fire cause ammo economy and the fact this will mostly be used as an add clear weapon needs this to be active faster. This also needs the scorch stacks to be applied at a higher stack per hit to get ignitions off on healthier targets more frequently. You should be able to beam some adds and occasionally get an ignition off on a knight or captain tier enemy to get some explosions going (Divinity) is fine where it is, its had its spotlight for long enough if anything (penance) should send lighting strikes down on targets under the effects of judgement long enough and jolting them to tie into it (Ruinous effigy) my favorite meme weapon Evolution (Light attack: make enemies volatile on hit) (Suppressing heavy: increase damage) (Guard: grant devour if target dies to drain keep minor lifesteal) Give this weapon the small bump in dmg from the flat buff and champs it should be fine as the (spacejam come on and slam weapon) (Wave splitter) just needs an additional damage increase by probably 20-30% to be what it should always be known as the dps trace with supercharged battery and harmonic laser

  • Agers is still my favourite trace. Could it be even stronger? Yes Sir, I'll take every buff. It's freezing capability is unmatched Imho. Other than that I only play traces when a Banshee bounty supposes to do so.
