So let me get this straight, you prioritise fixing the cash shop over fixing the bugged event...
You know the thing people are interested in playing? I would not be surprised if another # BoycottEververse-type thing starts trending. You say that you are listening, However 9 times out of 10 it feels like you already know what the problem is, and now you're just sitting on your hands to fix it. If you can fix a problem in the store you can resolve an issue in the game.
It's such a -blam!- scummy thing that it's getting to the point that Sony taking total control of the damn studio seems like a good prospect. As it would result in people doing their jobs promptly, rather than taking their time fixing the minor issues that are plaguing the game.
You should not have to "go through a chain of command" to fix a few bugs, Just do it.

Edited by Mark, Scholar of Stars: 12/13/2024 10:45:24 AMI wonder why people playing this game are so little informed about the current state of Bungie. It's been four months since Sony took "control" over them with Hermen Hulst, one of their CEO's. Pete Parsons has had to answer him since then for every action. And what happend? Nothing. The game looks worse as ever. Sony moved developers from Bungie to their studios - developers, who are critical for the success of the game. It's obvious where this is going. Edit: Plus, priority of Eververse doesn't surprise me at all.

Sony only wanted Bungie’s formula for GAAS. Fixing Destiny 2 was never the plan. Aren’t you enjoying Concord?
-
Seams as the only realistic option at this point...

Nah. Sony should sell Destiny before they lose all of their investment.
-
Still waiting. Anything would be better than what we got now.

Players are beyond pissed at this point and are dropping off like flies. What's made it worse is the lawsuit by one of the ex employees and the information they have shared about Bungies' sheer ignorance towards the player base. It's now got to a point where players are now considering a petition for a class action lawsuit alongside the ex employee, which in conversations has covered so many topics around the neglect for the franchise.
-
And now Bungie is getting hit with a multi million dollar lawsuit. You really gotta wonder just how much longer they can keep going.
-
Prioritise fixing the thing that makes them money? How dare they
So let me get this straight, you prioritise fixing the cash shop over fixing the bugged event...
Yes, in the real world, monetary problems will typically take priority over non monetary. And if you think Sony isnt going to care about profit over player, you are in for a sad time.
You should not have to "go through a chain of command" to fix a few bugs, Just do it.
Tell me dont work in development, hell, a corporate job, without saying it. Everything needs a sign off

Given that Destiny 2 has been bleeding cash lately, no surprise the focus is on the money machine. Most likely they aren't spending too much time on the bugs as they work on next year plan on soft rebooting some of the game mechanics and the new multi-year roadmap. Hopefully this will improve both the overall game experience while bringing back profit. Not an excuse for the current state of the game and the bugs though.

Going through a chain of command is what they have to do. They need to show how much time(money) it's gonna cost to fix bugs.
