Stuck on choral mind boss in exotic mission
Stuck at 2nd health bar.. what is going on? No way to break the shield and can't lower the red barrier to get anywhere near it.
EDIT: answered this myself.. it was a bug.. only 1 minotaur had spawned when the red borders were up. This seemed to soft lock the weak point to break the shield. wiped and this resolved it.
EDIT 2: softlock seems to be caused by the minotaurs not being directly killed by you. I.E them falling off the edge.
Edit 3: it's not the above either. It's just typical bungo buggy trash. Wait to play the mission until they fix it...
Edit 4: I just got spawned in a cave maze while doing the pink node encounter (the one you enter from room of scanable exo). Died to the explody vex, spawned there, assume this is a separate encounter, had to quit activity.

1 ReplyIts a bug. You have to wipe then we did damage the opposite way we did it first time. E.g. if you went right first to do damage try from the left next time!

1 ReplySeems this can also happen before the red borders part too. Just going through it myself, did two damage phases and no way to break his shield, so its not just a minotaur not spawning that can soft lock the encounter.

same thing happened to me. more frustrating since im doing it solo and i thought i messed up the first time. turns out bungie cant code shields when theyve been in the game since d1. on expert mode too so thanks bungie for wasting hours of my time due to your incompetence
