Favorite sword in Oblivion/Skyrim
My favorite weapon is [i]Chillrend[/i].
Apart from having the most badass sounding name ever, it looks visually awesome, and has a nice frost effect too.
Always my preferred sword of choice in both games.

Honestly no idea. I have so many weapon mods in Skyrim I've yet to try and forge all the awesome swords that can be made.

My favorite sword is a Dragonbone Longsword that I named Veðrfölnir. It has the chaos enchantment for 60 damage of fire, frost or shock.

Oblivion - Shadowrend from Shivering Isles. Skyrim - Ebony Blade

Miraak's sword is pretty neat. At least when you get when your lvl 60+ Not the greatest enchantment and its only stronger than Chillrend by just one point.

The penumbra in oblivion for sure ! Skyrim.... Probably the chillerend

I hand craft and enchant mine: (Legendary) Glass Sword with 20 points Fire Damage per strike and 20 points Cold Damage per strike. (give or take around 120-140 hit before recharge). I call it........wait for it.........wait..for..it.........Glass Sword, lol.

I thought the Sword of Jyggalag was pretty sweet! Plus, Jyggalag is kind of a fun name to say!

Chillrend is definitely one of the best, and most powerful, swords in Skyrim. But I do love Dawnbreaker, despite not being that powerful, and the Nightingale Blade too. Right now I'm really enjoying using a basic no-frills Dwarven Sword.
