A lot of people have been complaining about "paywalls" for a while now. I'm just wondering what paywalls are [i]actually[/i] in this game? Every single item that's in eververse is able to be acquired for free. The loot boxes all drop from an activity now, besides the FoL one. Sure, they only drop one per week, but they still drop. And you can get emotes from the nightfall. My point is, it's not a straight up paywall, but rather a wall with a door or several doors. Basically, yes there is a wall in front of the eververse content, but there are several activities that act as doors that grant access to that content. Each time you complete one of these activities (i.e. Nightfall, weekly strikes, weekly crucible, PoE) a door opens and you get a taste of the content behind the wall. Then microtransactions are your way to pay for another door if you like what you see. Or you still have the option to never pay for any of it and just be patient and wait until you get lucky. Which, might I remind you, is how you get every other piece of gear in this game.
