Greetings, you lovely, if slightly indifferent members of our fabulous community!
I've made this thread in response to the fact that apparently I'm now in the running to be #Offtopic's completely unofficial and illegitimate President, and also that I saw a fellow opponent doing this, and he'll gain way more popularity if he's the only one doing this.
So. You're probably already typing "literally whom'std've is OP" and "Why would I vote for her. She's not even funny or anything *dabs*"
Well, the following 'policies' are (hopefully) why you should 'vote' for me, instead of someone else around here.
Ahem.
1. The D2 Fanboys that will inevitably end up accidentally posting their stupid bullshit in our community will have their names recorded and after repeat offences, exiled. After all, a lot of us ended up in #Offtopic because of Destiny 1.
2. The incessant shitposting will remain. Wouldn't want to piss anyone off by controlling what they say, now would I?
That said, I would encourage this community to be more harsh on these posts, so they can hopefully become the quality shitposts that actually make people laugh.
3. The politics will unfortunately remain as well. See Policy 2.
4. All #Offtopic traditions will be celebrated in higher regard, i.e. Porch Day
5. This will not be a dictatorship. Elections will be held every two months. Why should I be the only one to ever be President?
Also, the absence of ninja powers makes the position of President completely pointless in all but name. People respect the title and I think it should be shared
Those of you who have more ideas for me to consider are free to respond to this thread, or PM me.
I hope you will chose to help me. We won't make #Offtopic great again. Nobody except maybe Recon can do that, but we can make #Offtopic slightly more interesting!
#MakeOfftopicFunAgain
Also, Fallout New Vegas was the best Fallout and Halo 3 was better than the other Halos :)
I'm gone for a couple weeks and you people create a democracy?? I'm not sure whether to be impressed or terrified. Like walking in on your hamster reading quantum physics.
