Iron Banner improvements and suggestions
Alright guys Iron Banner is back and its the same as its always been in D2, dull, it needs new stuff, how about making IB an event that happens throughout pvp perhaps you pledge to either Efrideet or Saladin and gain points for your team resulting in the winners getting a weapon of some stort, exotic axe maybe? Adding multiple Banner modes like control, capture the flag, maybe a something like two teams fight over an Iron Axe at the centre of the map the team to claim it uses it for a short time before it resets, kills with the axe provide bonus points and super energy for your team and finally a Iron lord/Young wolf title for player to earn over a season.

I think there should be more bounties than just the 4. I finished all 4 in 1 day and keep playing for the better rolls. I think the additional bounties should give you more tokens to buy more gear. I also saw someone say having a quest to get a specific gun like an autorifles quest, etc.

Changes: in saladins inventory you can buy this month 2 prerolled weapons for Iron banner tokens. And 2 armor pieces that have good stats, can be bought for tokens. Dismantling Iron Banner weapons and gear will give you Iron banner tokens. After Iron Banner matches you can get more tokens then now and only Iron Banner weapons and armor drop as loot at the end.

A better loot system. You can play 40+ matches and not come anywhere close to finding the gun you want. It should be easier to farm for Steady Hand or Fool's Remedy.

My major improvement would simply be to choose armor or weapon for a pinnacle drop after I finish the quest 11 weapons and one armor drop sounds like bsrng to me.

All great ideas and it would be cool if you could Pledge to darkness (Efrideet maybe? Or drifter) or pledge to light (Saladin). Saladin is pissed at us lol.

Personally I'd really like there to be a way to specifically farm for certain weapons (eg. repeatable mini-quest costing x amount of tokens) like with the Europa weapons. They could even add the option to narrow the perk pool like with the Wrathborn hunts. I'd love to get a good roll on the Steady Hand but my only hope is to get super lucky with RNG. My chances of getting one are so slim that I won't be trying for it in future events but if there was a way that I could specifically target one then that would add a whole new level of replayability to me. Just my thoughts though.

2 RepliesIn my opinion, if they aren’t able to create new gear for Iron Banner, they should at least bring back some D1 Iron Banner gear. I could be just a [i]little[/i] biased, though. I really want my Iron Companion armor back.

Only two things I’d like to see improved. Put 6 stacks against each other. There’s plenty out there. If I’m playing with one buddy, doing quest and bounties, we don’t need sweating all over. If you skip capturing zones you get penalized in some way, gets boring being tripled capped because of players who do not understand how the game works. If hybrid control is too high brow for the majority, just make it clash.

Also iron lord title for getting you wolf and doing like a desent number of matches
