Panzer's organized ramblings in the form of another Panzer Post

Hello again, Offtopic. Panzer's back with more Panzerposts that like 2-3 people care about. Also, since I prefer to ask questions at the end, to get some interesting responses. I... I want answers to the questions, guys. Please. Aside from all of that, Panzer's going to spend some time talking about bugs! Spiders, Millipedes, and other creepy crawlies. Killing them for no reason is wrong, and Offtopic has established this forever ago, thanks to our resident eldritch undead. However: If I see one of your agents in my territory, Lich Queen, I will not hesitate to eliminate them. No spies. Moving on; Panzer has discovered a millipedes lung capacity. Around 30 seconds. Also, Balloon Mollies do not like the taste of millipede, and they scare shrimp. Also, they don't always float, for some reason. Ehhh, also, Panzer is continually trying to draw/write but lacks inspiration or motivation. Panzer is not sure what to do. None of the few drawings done on paper make Panzer pleased enough to keep them, and Panzer's rather cheap drawing pad and lack of any money lead to a very annoying experience trying to draw anything online. Writing is in a better place, but lacking motivation leads to dry and dull writing that even Panzer can't justify NOT redoing. It's pretty yucky, and not exactly relevant to any of you, but it's on Panzer's mind, so now it's in a post. Panzer is finally finishing the final 2 books of the Wheel of Time. Panzer has enjoyed the series immensely so far, and Mr. Sanderson, so far, has wonderfully continued RJ's work. Many people dislike the series for one reason or another, and everyone compares it to LoTR, so here's Panzer's hot take of the day. WoT is 10x more enjoyable to read than the LoTR Trilogy. It's longer and has much fewer action parts, but the characters, to me, are so much more full, and their growth is incredibly evident (seeing as RJ took like 5 books to just kinda build up tension and character development, which turns of many people as they don't want to read 5 books to get to the end. Panzer never minded.) Also, Panzer takes a practice ACT... Tomorrow. Wish him luck, please. Panzer's tAnkDHD does not pair well with 4-hour tests. Well, that messy conglomerate of... something is about all I have now, so, a few questions. To WoT readers: Who is your favorite character? To readers at all: What is your favorite book series? (Preemptively Panzer will say Dune and WoT are top for him.) For the rest of you: Ever played D&D? Wanted to? If so, please pitch me your character ideas, I love to hear stuff like that, and people's super creative/unique characters always put a smile on Panzer, as a part-time DM who loves to play flavor characters. That's all for today my lads, lasses, lards, and larpers! May you always find water and shade!

  •
To readers at all: What is your favorite book series?
The Belgariad (and its follow-up series, The Mallorean) by David Eddings. Great fantasy series. It's the typical "chosen one joins a band of misfits and travels across the realm in search of the magical doohickey to save the world from impending doom" plot, but I enjoyed it.

    • Ah yes, the ACT. I’d rather stick forks in my eyes. I did come with a strategy for passing the time after you’re done, though. Bring a sweatshirt and use it as a pillow so that you can sleep. It’s like time travel minus the butterfly effect and other stuff. Then again, I can sleep pretty much whenever and wherever I want. I once fell asleep on a bus while sitting up and listening to metal. No idea how that one worked.

Spiders are neat. Also, as for my favorite book series, even though I haven’t read it in years (since I enjoy books far less upon rereading them in short time-spans), it would probably have to be Dune. I just really like Dune. And the sand worms. Anyway, spiders look like friends. They just have that general shape. Additionally, good luck with that test, if it’s not done yet.

I’m at home at my parents’ house for a few days and whilst sorting out a few drawers I’ve found a load of work I did at university that I kept for some reason. Mostly just badly scribbled half-notes about Heidegger and assignments with “57%- refer to secondary texts and learn how to reference properly, doofus” written at the bottom (neither of which I would bother doing the next time). But among the fairly large wad is a notebook with some poetry I did back then (I’d consider it the start of my poetry life, having done a considerable amount since, if fairly sporadically) and honestly I really like it. It’s a lot more visceral and pointed than the stuff I do now, and punchier, and it’s given me a bit of verve to do different things. Because a lot of what I’ve settled on doing now sort of feels the same and a little bland.

            • My favorite book series is probably the LOTR books. I’ve never played DND all though I want to get into it
