I think some of the worst CGI I've ever seen was X-Men: Origins Wolverine. He had shitty looking CGI claws, some of the backgrounds looked horrible, and some of it looked like PS2 graphics.
-
The Hunger Games. Dat fire.
-
Oz: The Great and Powerful was pretty heinous.
-
G.I.Joe
-
Army of darkness.
-
The list could be extensive. CGI is severely overused. Star Wars - TFM, unbelievably bad CGI in so many places The Frightners Hulk I could make a long list of ones I recall, but I am on Vicodin right now for tooth pain, and don't feel like being negative. The one thing that just occurred to me. The Harry Potter series was filled with CGI. Loaded with it. But, the fact that it was all based on magic, the CGI never looked 'bad' to me. It's almost like it fit the design of the story. Come to think of it, none of the CGI in it that I can recall looked bad. Interesting.

Who killed captain Alex.
-
Ghost Rider 2
-
Alien 3 The Langoliers
-
The second and third Matrix films look exceptionally shit.
-
Expendables. When the house blows up at the end and they set the big guy on fire. Just awful.
-
The silver surfer in Fantastic Four 2. Hulk (2003).
-
10,000 B.C. Towards the end when the top of a pyramid falls...it just looks horrible.
-
It was a movie about a Megalodon vs a Giant Squid. It was terrible.
-
Matrix movies. You can easily tell it's CGI. The heavy action scenes look like good PS2 CGI.
-
Yonggary. Haven't heard of it? Well you have now, and if you ever see it you'll wish you hadn't. Not only does it have some shitty CGI, it also has the worst acting I've ever seen, and that's saying a hell of a lot.
-
Oz: The Great and Powerful, which I saw this week, has some terrible backgrounds. Look like Halo 4's skyboxes, just digital paintings smattered behind a few rolling hills.
-
Beowulf's graphics confused me. Some moments I thought it was actually live action, then in the next scene, the CGI is so painfully obvious that it hurt to watch it.
-
[insert random chinese movie here]
-
Tron Legacy. Only a small minority of the film actually has poor CGI standards mind you. Clu's aforementioned face comes to mind.
