Sad, possible theory: Maybe we are a computer simulation, the universe simulated in a some sort of tube or chamber. Thus, maybe we are completely alone in this giant simulation, while the real aliens observe from the outside. AND AT THE SAME TIME, they are part of ANOTHER simulation, and so on. /theory Other than that, assuming we are not part of a simulation, I believe we are not alone.
