Awesome.
We're a Destiny household and my son and I bond while playing and watching YouTube. True Vanguard is his favorite and I'm thankful that I can let him watch away without worrying about not kids friendly content (s/o to Byf as well!).
Now that I've downloaded twitch, we've been in the habit of coming home from school on Fridays and watching TV stream trials. I sent TV a tweet about our Friday custom and said "how about a Trials run for your biggest 6 year old fan?"
So Monday, after school, Monkeyami got his dream come true. There's no one else I would have let him run with or enjoy his first ever party chat than TV.
I got to watch on Twitch. I was worried how chat would react, but it was amazing. Great support from the community for him. I only had to mute one guy. Thanks also to Tkiriella and Managtor.
So amidst all the salt and tea bagging, this community is still awesome.
Edit: TV has put up the official video, including the full lap around the map without dying. :)

Edit 2: If you're a parent and place a priority on that while still enjoying playing, check out Waltz of the Abyss.
Edit 3: My first blog post. For those worried that my son has free reign of the PS4: http://gamestogether.blogspot.com/2016/03/first-post-house-rules.html

I wish my wife shared an equal enthusiasm about Destiny as you lol. I have a daughter, and I am absolutely not allowed to let her watch me play, let alone watch streams together.

This is cool. My 9yr old son and one of his 10yr old buddies took me on a flawless run to the Lighthouse in Trials in year 1! I was so proud of him lol! He has since given up on Destiny and moved on to different games, but I know how cool it is to play with your kid :-)
