Listen I get it some people might like every activity being a challenge but for regular players like myself it's just a turn off. like bro I don't wanna jump on a game to have "fun" and pretty much every activity in the game feeling like a game of tug of war. don't worry sweats I will go cry about it *wink*
Like GM nightfalls shouldn't be a -blam!- sweat fest,dungeons should be more mechanic based rather than throwing a ton of ads at the player with a -blam!- ton of health.. champions are just honestly a bad idea.
I guess I just miss the days of D1 where I could pump out raids and strikes all day without wanting to bash my head in but hey 🤷♂️

GM’s are literally designed to be one of the hardest endgame PvE activities and even then a majority of them are still extremely easy. 3.0 builds made them insanely manageable.
Dungeons will more than likely never be more mechanic heavy and if they ever are then they’ll still be extremely simple mechanics because dungeons are designed so that solo players can also take on the role of a full fireteam when doing solo runs. For what they are they’re pretty evenly matched between mechanics and just pointing and shooting.
The funny thing is people whine and cry about bullet sponge enemies but when Bungie adds more frequent and dense enemies to activities people whine and cry about that too. There’s only so many ways you can make content more challenging lol.
At the end of the day GM’s, raids, and dungeons are endgame content and they’re supposed to be hard. Even then in the case of raids and dungeons unless you’re doing Master they’re all still extremely easy. It’s not about “every activity being a challenge”, it’s about endgame activities being a challenge. Endgame content is endgame content for a reason lol. 🤦🏻♂️
