Where are they? Did you guys seriously not plan to bring back the 3 best weapons from the Saint XIV collection? Unbelievable. Best designs, most fun weapons of the season - left out? Major failure, Bungie. Time and time again you pull something completely illogical. It's like factions all over again - you bring back the most niche and undesirable faction weapons rather than the best parts of each entire set. Asinine. Dead Orbit is missing Eternal Slumber, Three Graves, Guiding Star, Haunted Earth, Radiant Stardust, Basilisk... come on guys. You can do better. Give us the things we want to chase. Nobody cares about a 50-millionth Escape Velocity or Dire Promise at this point.

They should’ve finished out the Saint 14 gear with Steelfeather and Gallant Charge. But I think Trophy Hunter should be saved for sometime when we can give it some more love

Let's use our context clues! If the new act that just dropped yielded us another gun from that aresnal, MAYBE it means that's the delivery system for the rest of his arsenal. Not saying it's a good answer you'll like, but it logically follows.

The worst part is they were going to bring back trophy hunter for into the light but because they were too lazy, we only got the few weapons they gave us instead of the full list they wanted to bring back

Breachlight and Marty were leagues better than any of those. But I can understand wanting your favorites back. They could still be coming back in the future for all we know.
-
Those were your favorites. Not the best. Not in a world with breachlight, paradox, and martyrs retribution in the same season.

Best weapons to whom? Not me. From that season i thought the side arm and scout were the best. Guess bungie did too lol. Especially since they have data that shows what was used the most out of them and are probably releasing them in that order. Also, we have another act to go, which means more weapons are coming.
