A Tribute to the First Gun in Destiny
Exotic Bounty: How it all Began...
"[i]You've delved into the deepest corners of the darkness, Fought the most vile of enemies, but now is a time for reflection on what began your journey[/i]"
1. Receive the bounty randomly when killing enemies in "The Breach" (very low chance) once you reach level 30
2. Bring the Khvostov 7G-02 to the gunsmith. If you do not have a Khvostov 7G-02, a very hard to kill Captain Major will appear in the area where you started the game with a Guaranteed Drop.
3. The Gunsmith will give you a "Golden Age Assembly Manual" for 5 Strange Coins
4. Acquire the next part of the mission "[i]Go down memory lane to some of your toughest battles[/i]"
5. Defeat the following Levels on level 32 Difficulty (unlocked once you acquire bounty): Shrine of Oryx, Eye of the Gate Lord, The Last Array, The Black Garden.Each mission has Nightfall on. You must have the Khvostov G7-02 in your inventory.
6. Go to Ikora Rey. Receive the "Repaired Golden Age Weapon Frame" from her.
7. Acquire the last part of the bounty "For the Future".
8. Defeat "Riksis, The Devil Archon" with the original Khvostov 7G-02 on level 32
9. Return to the gunsmith to acquire "Khvostov XG-777"

**Shots fired from this weapon explode on impact (Reduced Effectiveness in Crucible). Kills with this weapon increase damage for a short amount of time (Reduced Effectiveness in Crucible). Increased damage to Ultras.
Notes to all who read this:
Exotic perk is similar to Explosive rounds, not firefly.
Wind Up has the same fire rate scaling as Thunderlord, so with its rather small mag size, the increase won't be too significant (the gun is harder to control too)

1 回复Like many I still have the original Auto Rifle, Shotgun and Rocket Launcher. And would love to be able to ascend them to say Year One Anniversary Edition or Rarity something to this effect. Not grind out a bounty for something that I already have.

Otherwise, my Shadow Price or Vanquisher or SUROS are all more preferable. Even still, to fully take advantage of Wind up, it wouldn't make sense to run anything but Field Scout, so... Yeah. All the Exotic perks in the world won't make a difference if I can't hit my target. Perhaps if you took the base stats from a Silimar's Wrath, and coupled it with these perks. ;D Think about it. You wanna make a lead-hose, that's how you make a lead hose. Coupled with the Wind up perk: *BANG, BANG, BANG, BANG, BA-BA-BA-BA-BA-BA-BA, BBBRRRRRRRRRRRT*

This formats out a lot of others ideas and I think this is good and I think the gun should be the same as it is when you get it at the start of the game but the crack in the sight is fixed and the gun is a glossy black. Also I don't agree with your idea of explosive rounds as I think it should be something related to the gun/Russia. Possiably the golden age perk could give high impact, virtually 0 recoil, reload as fast as flared mag well and 'golden age compression' which doubles ammo store

I like it a lot. Re playing your "toughest" battles with the weapon you found first. I really like the quest for this, the perks and stats would need some reworking of course because all the pvp babbies will complain. I would be completely fine if it was a pve only weapon with the stats and perks it currently has though.
