TL;DR: Should teachers be able to force students to do things they don't want to do (that doesn't involve schoolwork)? And, should teachers be able to THREATEN their students? I know that a lot of my threads are bait, but this one is a real story. In my school, in January we have a "Winter Carnival". Each homeroom is divided into teams, but both homerooms in my class teamed up. And, for one of our team teachers, we got the worst teacher in the entire school that everyone hated. The other one likes to tell everyone around her when one person does something slightly wrong as if everyone does it all the time. Anyways, one day, we had to do a "suitcase race", where 4 people from each team would open up a suitcase, put on all the clothes inside, and run across the gym. The problem was, only 3 people wanted to do it in my class. Then, the second teacher I mentioned started complaining and whining like she was on the #Dentistry forums. The second teacher (the one everyone hates), does the dumbest thing I've ever seen her do. SHE THREATENS US. SHE STARTS YELLING AND SHOUTING AT US SAYING THAT IF SOMEONE DOESN'T VOLUNTEER TO GO UP EVERYONE GETS IN TROUBLE. Out of absolute fear, I volunteer. Now, for the question: Should teachers be able to force students to do things they don't want to do (that doesn't involve schoolwork)? And, should teachers be able to THREATEN their students?
