I managed to convince my friend to create an account on Bungie.net and play Destiny. But his status is stuck at "Your friend has yet to purchase and play Destiny: The Taken King. Once they have completed the necessary steps, you will be Linked Friends." I know he's played since we went in to the crucible and I helped with a couple story missions. I did a little trouble shooting and found that it is possible I may need to delete and re-send the refer-a-friend link again which has already been done, but there is no change. I am posting this now since this will be day 4 since he created his account, and the ridiculous 7 day time limit is quickly approaching. Hell it even shows he has 305 Grimoire so servers must show he's played. He is sharing his PS4 with his brother who has played Destiny before. What are we doing wrong and what can we do to make this thing work?
