Sick of this now

Again and again and again. Have contacted Microsoft regarding this and I do indeed have a live subscription. Have forwarded all ports on my router, the Xbox is connected to the Internet. Xbox detailed network statistics screen: Download speed: 73.47Mbps Upload speed: 16.84Mbps Packet loss: 0% MTU: 1480 (cannot be changed) Latency (which is to the Seattle servers of Microsoft from the UK) 154ms I would just like bungie to reply to this with an answer. And before anyone, and I mean ANYONE directs me to anymore troubleshooting pages; I have done everything suggested, I've even re-installed destiny!

 • Hey. So i read your post. Had a couple questions and please bear with me, I'm only trying to help and know quite a bit about the subject. But take it for what you will, not here to impose. You said you forwarded the proper ports. Did you also disable UPnP. I would suggest only using UPnP and not port forwarding. However you should only do one. Your getting a lot of latency. You should only really see around 80 max for decent gameplay. I can connect with a friend in Germany (I'm near San Francisco) and see around 40-60. Your console should tell you around 40-60. Is your 154 latency on a speed test or from the console. If it's from the console, it's high but not extreme. If it's on a speed test like ookla, it's pretty high (my ookla is around 3-9 for example) The reason I suggest UPnP and not port forwarding is it will reassign ports for any device that requests to use ports that are already in use by another device. This is extremely important when you might have a 360 and a one or two of the like. You will also want to confirm that you have nat type 1 or open nat enabled. Check your routers manual for adjusting this. It may be under firewall or listed as "allow anonymous ip pass through" Now. If your using xbone, I'd like you to try something. You may have already done this, but try it again. From the dashboard, press and hold the consoles power button for 10 seconds. The console will power down. Once the console stops making noise (around 15-20 seconds), unplug the console from the back of the console (not the wall) for a good 5 min. Next, plug it back in and power on. Once at the dashboard, press and hold the console power button again for 10 seconds. Once the console has powered down and stops making noise go ahead and power back on and run the network diagnostics. See if anything changes. Another thing to look at, are you using a modem/router combo AND another router connected to that. If so, find out from your ISP about setting the modem/router combo to bridge mode. You may be experiencing double nat. Let me know if I can help in anyway. Networking connectivity in destiny can be frustrating. Dingo
