I will be posting an alphabetical list of ridiculous Pokemon Pokedex entries here that show how stupidly overpowered or disturbingly strange many Pokemon can be. If you know of any that aren't already listed, let me know.
Overpowered
Arceus
It is described in mythology as the Pokémon that shaped the universe with its 1,000 arms.
Dialga
This Pokémon completely controls the flow of time. It uses its power to travel at will through the past and future.
Ditto
It has the ability to reconstitute its entire cellular structure to transform into whatever it sees.
Entei
Volcanoes erupt when it barks.
Grimer
As it moves, it loses bits of its body from which new Grimer emerge.
Gyarados
It is capable of destroying entire cities in a rage.
Machamp
One arm alone can move mountains. Its four ruggedly developed arms can launch a flurry of 1,000 punches in just two seconds.
Magcargo
Magcargo's body temperature is approximately 18,000 degrees F. Water is vaporized on contact.
Metang
It flies at over 60 miles per hour. Its body is so tough, even a crash with a jet plane won't leave a scratch.
Palkia
It has the ability to distort space. Its total control over the boundaries of space enable it to transport itself to faraway places or even other dimensions.
Yveltal
When its life comes to an end, it absorbs the life energy of every living thing and turns into a cocoon once more.
Strange or Disturbing
Banette
A cursed energy permeated the stuffing of a discarded and forgotten plush doll, and so it became a Pokémon over its grudge from being junked. It seeks the child that disowned it.
Chandelure
It absorbs people's spirits, which it then burns. Being consumed in Chandelure's flame burns up the spirit, leaving the body behind. The spirits burned up in its ominous flame lose their way and wander this world forever.
Dusknoir
The antenna on its head captures radio waves from the world of spirits that command it to take people there.
Lampent
It arrives near the moment of death and steals a person's spirit from their body. The spirits it absorbs fuel its baleful fire. It hangs around hospitals waiting for people to pass on.
Litwick
While shining a light and pretending to be a guide, it leeches off the life force of any who follow it. The life force it absorbs from other living creatures becomes the fuel that it burns.
Phantump
These Pokémon are stumps possessed by the spirits of children who died while lost in the forest.
Yamask
Each of them carries a mask that used to be its face when it was human. Sometimes they look at it and cry.
As a kid I found it really terrifying that Paras is not the crab but the mushroom on it who is controlling the crab's dead body.. And when it's evolved into Parasect the eyes don't have pupils anymore and the mushroom has grown. -blam!-ing freaked me out. I've always been terrified of symbiosis and parasites

Not sure it would be classified as disturbing or anything, but Spoink supposedly only stays alive by bouncing, so whenever it faints or gets paralyzed, it's heart should technically stop and it should die.

由Classified编辑: 8/6/2016 10:18:10 AMI recall one of the Unova Pokemon basically eats the souls of dead children or is one Hypno is probably the worse though: Hypno attracts kids into forests and such and he uses the pendulum is holds to hypnotise the children and taking them somewhere in which they will never be found ever again (I wonder what that sounds like) Blaziken is nothing weird, but if Blaziken were to become a NBA player, Jordans would be replaced with Air Blazikens, because Blaziken has hops for days Deoxys pokedex entry is weird, but Gamefreak made Deoxys so similar to MissingNO from 1st gen games, High Attack, Low Defense, Biological virus etc

I forgot what they where called but in this one episode there's this artificial mewtwo who could use any attack ever recorded all at once. The only reason it was stop is because a glitch in the system cause a mew program to self sacrifice it to destroy the program. If anyone knows the episode please tell me.

由maisydog编辑: 8/5/2016 7:50:32 PMThere are some pretty bad ones out there... Kabutops was said to slice open its victims and drink their fluids, if I remember correctly... Hypno steals children... Drifloon will carry away people who hold onto its string... Litwicks flame uses souls to burn... There's some messed up stuff in Pokémon...
Looking at you, lavender town

Also Mimikyu is so lonely it pretends to be a pikachu so people might love it
How could you leave out Velocirapstar? It's a Raptor and a Rap star combined into one. That's the definition of OP. Not even Terribovie or Chu-Chu Nezumi can defeat it. (Just going for a laugh not trying to make fun of anyone)

Alola-Form Exeggutor: This Pokemon became dragon type because it has a long neck. Why?
-blam!- you that's why.
"Machamp: ...Its four ruggedly developed arms can launch a flurry of 1,000 punches in just two seconds." Yet it still can't learn mach punch. Magikarp's (Heart)Gold entry: It may jump high on rare occasions, but never more than seven feet. Magikarp's Platinum/B&W entry: A Magikarp living for many years can leap a mountain using Splash. Make up your god damn mind!

Not really pertaining to its Pokedex entry, but whatever. Fun Fact: Wailord is less dense than air!
