Bungie's Masterworks for Armor idea is a HOAX!!!!! It was a last ditch effort for them to try to keep players playing after their SHITTIEST UPDATE since Destiny 1 inception...
Masterworks Armor was ONLY supposed to be for reducing incoming damage when using your super. Well I found/upgraded my Masterworks Armor with my spare cores from breaking down WEEKS of dumb guns that were pointless to wait for - ALL to die EVERY TIME I USE MY SUPER IN 1 DAY! DONE... I'm done with Destiny. Bungie - you SUCK MAJOR ASS!

1) it's only the first taste with more to come. 2) it does make a difference. I've survived many times when I should not have. 3) it's not meant to make one invulnerable, just a bit harder to kill. on par with Resilience

Very true my friend. They’ve ruined this game. Don’t let the sheep below fool you into thinking things are changing. Things are NOT changing in the game...just more and more cosmetic bullshit to breakdown into silver dust, to turn around and purchase more cosmetic bullshit. Masterworks weapons are a complete joke. For anyone to act like that garbage does anything substantial is trying really hard to fool themselves. Masterworks armor is even worse... Trust me, I wanted to believe that Bungie was on their way to making helpful changes... sorry to inform the sheep here, that Destiny 2 is way past saving. So enjoy it for what it is, because destiny 1, and any real destiny game, is long gone at this point...

I thought they were a waste of time untill I 're worked them for certain characters. Titan I gave him better mobility whilst keeping the resilience. Hunter I gave him better recovery whilst keeping his mobility Warlock I made it so he had the same mob, res, and recovery . You need to have a play and look at the numbers down the side next to the mobility resilience and recovery

People need to remember that this was only the initial implementation and this is not the final version of it. Hopefully they turn it into something more meaningful, however I am glad that I can change the stats of my armor now.

You do know it doesnt make you invincible having 5 masterwork armor. It only grants 15pct dmg reduction. They stated that along time ago. You still have to time your super. And I am happy that it is acturally possible to stop another super without using your own super.

They really need to look at Diablo 3 for how armor should work. We need sets that give a worthwhile bonus that gets better tin more pieces we have, not some crap 3% per item only when of super

It makes no difference. It was something to grind for. If you have an exotic, you don't get the full bonus, anyways.

I figured it was better to save the cores for weapons, but doesn't masterworks re-roll the armor type? Adjility, resilience, recovery?
