I hope that I get excited to return one day. This dlc felt very final and it’s hard to be excited until they reveal more about frontiers. These episodes so far kinda suck imo. Feels very “villain of the week”

I find that posts like this are ok to post. I don't get why people have to say "You don't need to announce your departure" or "nobody cares" when people clearly do. If someone needs to put out their frustration on a public forum talking about the game, then I see no problem with that. It's people like the quotes above that seems to get upset when someone does quit the game rather than just scrolling passed it and taking their own advice of not caring. It genuinely doesn't matter to those who don't want to engage with the post. That being said, I get the frustration of the game being more difficult then ever. But I personally have been able to adapt to any situation through my friends' suggestions, content creators loadouts and builds as well as watching less experienced small streamers that I have raided doing the raid. I analyze other people's gameplay and work with them and ask what they're doing to get the job done I would love to see gameplay of people who say the game is too difficult and see what they're doing wrong. Not as a jab or to make fun of them, but to see what they can do better. A lot of the people who play this game and say the game is too hard, 8 times out of 10 are running double primary and don't even have the right guns for certain situations. And also I feel like a lot of people are jealous at content creators for being able to make content for a living and/or think they're being condescending to others by giving out guides but that's a whole other can of worms. The very idea of someone being able to do harder content automatically makes you an elitist and people think you deserve insults for playing the game. Talking to you tinfoil hat gamers who are obsessed with streamers. I enjoy talking with the community and picking at people's brains because this is indeed a community. I would love to see people be less hostile towards each other and have people who are actually passionate about the game rather than saying "game bad" half the time but it's their right to not go into detail. And also trolls who have nothing better to do and have no friends. I'm on the line of people who troll need to be studied and provided an evaluation.m of some sort. Your brain isn't supposed to work like that. At the very least you need therapy or need to talk to someone. There is something wrong with you. But hey. I might be asking too much of this forum. Even if it's a loud, small minority. And yes we are the minority. Just like people who didn't know who pantheon was for, get a clue and understand. We are the minority and your voice will never be heard of you keep bickering. Go to reddit and be respectful if you want your voice to be heard. But regardless it's ok to post here.

I'm also dipping soon. Time to call it a day and quit on relative high if TFS. Was kinda hoping to be sucked back in, but nah now iv done raid got exotics etc etc I feel totally bored again. Planning to finish guilding conq for last time and maybe complete iconoclast title and then sail off into the sunset.

Kind of same for me , only play a few games of pvp weekly now . Haven’t looked at new acts just not interested. I feel like FS was a good end to destiny 2 for me .

Right there with ya amigo. I always wait until about halfway thru an expansion/dlc to stop and wait to the next one, but with FS being over, I’ve been running outta steam rapidly and I think this will also be my final week without a plan to pick it back up now that the original story has concluded. It’s been fun, but the rides over :)

I just took a ten month break and found a balanced approach upon return. Just don't buy any Destiny stuff and it helps with the list of things to do. Also all the real life things I have been doing have more meaning than a video game so spending money on something that consumes time with nothing to show for it no longer makes sense again, at this time. Dope, booze, loose women and video games, you don't need all of those.
