If you haven't tried doing so yet, could you kindly adjust which Path your Shaping Slab is on, and see if you are then able to access the quest? If this does not help and you find you're still unable to trigger the appearance of the portal, could you please record a video which demonstrates this? Once you have a video, you can upload it to a site like Youtube, and we'll investigate.
