I kinda agree with this.
I posted this on Facebook in a reply to someone (this is just a copy and paste):

Consumer's don't know what they want. COD was a pretty popular series before 4 but was still on par with other military shooters. Then COD4 came along and gave console players something they've never experienced before and they loved it. Now consumers are too afraid of plashing out £40/$60 on a game that [i]might not be as good as COD.[/i]
