Double Jumps.
So I've played as a Hunter since the 17th, and today I made a Warlock class, and was surprised at how strange it's double jump (or glide I guess) was. I find it very hard to use, and it has put me off my new character. Anyone got any input?

3 回复you get an upgrade to your glide later. Makes it much easier to control. My problem however is the opposite of yours. been a warlock since the alpha, and just made a hunter.I uuhh...I dont like him.does it get better?

1 回复With hunter u get used to jumping, waiting till the peak if your jump, then jumping again. If u do that as a warlock you're screwed. You HAVE to double tap your jump key immediately. That will assure you your highest and most controllable glide.

1 回复Hunter has the best jump by far with Titan second (it's like a jet pack) and Warlock last with its hard to master glide

The only con is your a lot more vulnerable in the air while using it but as said before like i just read below, it is momentum based and people don't realize that. I use it more to strafe and its successful most of the time. Practice makes perfect, good luck =)

Advice for how to use the glide ability? I could try and offer some. Is it weird? Hell yeah, and by now, you already know this. For the most part it works a lot like lift, but with much more lateral movement at times.whatever direction you are going when you activate glide will send you drifting in that direction until gravity kicks in. If I were you, go into explore mode and mess around with it, see how it works, how you can implement it into combat and also note that you can use lift an unlimited amount of times. It will save you from fall damage.

1 回复Yeah they are all different. Did you know you can cancel your jump at anytime by hitting the jump button again?

2 回复Neon, it's easy. You have two kinds way of use. If you press jump two times very fast and in the second time you hold down de button, you gonna fly. But, if you press jump and wait a little bit and press again the jump button you gonna glide. Basically is this.

1 回复The warlock jump ability is momentum based. To get the most out of your jump, tap the jump button twice rapidly. You can press it a third time or ads to cancel your glide. The rest just takes some getting used to, you can't cover grind as fast as the hunters double jump, and you are a bit more vulnerable in the air. However, you can set up a sort of ambush for somebody by being in the air when they come around a corner and catching them by surprise.
