Let's just see the general opinion on BNet's moderation at the moment.
I think we need either more mods, or new ones. The number of misplaced Destiny threads is freaking ridiculous.
The mods tell us to "kindly direct the new users to #Destiny". We do that, then they move our threads but not the misplaced ones.
Amazing. For as long as I've been here people have groaned about the moderation here. Rules are updated for clarity, complain that their too specific and things fall between the cracks. Mod team loosens the rules to be more generalistic, now you're all mad that they're too open for interpretation allowing for more bans for less reasons. You're finally given a way to moderatorate your own experience and now you complain about that. There's no pleasing any of you. That being said I personally perfered the old more tradional forums that use to be here, if I had my vote it would be a return to that with some of the self moderating features we have in this current iteration.

It's not the level of moderation.... It's the level of moderation relative to the level of posters who can't be bothered (or don't have the common sense) to look at whether their posts belong where they're being placed. That isn't as clear now (in my opinion) as it was on the old version of Bnet, but for the most part they're still fairly self-explanatory. I still maintain, however, that hashtags are an atrocious and completely ineffective method of organizing a forum.

由Miiji编辑: 9/20/2014 10:37:38 PMI preferred how Bungie.net worked before. The Ninjas (for the most part) were doing their job just fine. Sometimes we hated them, sometimes we liked them, but at the end of the day everything worked out. This whole nonsense where you are your own moderator by hiding, disliking, and blocking users or waiting for mentors to move threads made by idiots in the wrong places because of the anti-intuitive design of the forums in the separation of the categories makes it a whole pain than what it should be.

There either needs to be a change in rules or a big button that says "This is in the wrong place, moron." Over.

Don't know, are we still told to moderate the forums ourselves? I always thought the mute feature was a good one, but not one to replace actual moderation .

由Laser编辑: 9/21/2014 12:03:27 AMIn the middle.
I think we need either more mods, or new ones.
Isn't that statement redundant?

由Charlemagne编辑: 9/20/2014 10:33:31 PMIt's not so much the moderation as it is the new rule system. They've lost power. Also, why is this in Offtopic? If you're going to complain about threads being in the wrong categories, you should probably not contribute to the issue.
