So nobody will help me finish off Crota on hard because...
I don't have a gjallarhorn.
I've been playing since day one. I know the strategies. I either get stuck with clueless randoms or elitist assholes who think that is the only weapon that will work.
Funny thing is I've been with groups with one Gally and sever HoCs and his shield is down almost instantly.
Because experience doesn't matter.

FINAL EDIT: So I finally beat him last night and guess what? I got crap drops.
Glowhoo, another raid helm with same perks, and my 3rd Patience and Time that I don't plan on using.
All that hard work and time wasted... damn.

I've came close to beating hard mode countless times only to have the sword dissappear on our final sword hold.. It's so frustrating I don't plant on attempting it until that's payched... But that's retarded that people don't let u join for lack of gally.. Any rocket will do the job... Just need to constantly put damage on him because he gets his shield back real quick

3 回复Gjallarhorn is only so sought after because of [i]solar[/i] tracking rounds. When The Arena is available, it'll be useless against Arc Fallen. And Thunderlord's time will have come.

3 回复Do you mind helping ? We nearly beat him last night and some guy dropped the sword at 1% which screwed us over. Or anyone that wants to do the raid can add me. I've gotten the hang of the strategy to hm crota. Psn : Entirety- I am willing to help whoever also :)

I've had gally since the third weeks nightfall bro, and the truth is I didn't use it on any of my hard raids. Why? Because I prefer my ice breaker when it comes to Crota on hard to keep boomers at bay. I use my hunger and shoot to rockets each time when Crota falls, "oh but what about heavy ammo" well you see, there's this little known thing with the ice breaker and no ammo which has been around since I got it in week 5 (so probs dates back to first week) that allows you to have a pool of heavy ammo before leaving the room. It's awesome.

2 回复What you consider bad drops are another's great drops. Also, this post is full of shit, I've beaten it 5 times, 2 times with GHorn, 3 without.. Don't have a horn, learn to carry the sword. Pretty simple.

Felt your pain. I finally got up early and played with no lfg kids that didn't have stupid requirements for the raid. It is not about gjally it is the EXECUTION. 2 回复I find it pathetic how there is a belief people need Ghorn to drop Crota. I was the Swordbearer for my team last night. Guess how many people had Ghorn? One whole person. Guess how many attempts we had? One try. Our first try. With any kind of Rocket Launcher. If you were on Xbox 360 I'd help ya out man. People are dumb shits when it comes to this game sometimes.
