Hello, everyone one I just wanted to give my 2 cents about the new hunter subclass (being an avid hunter) and bring up some points to show to those who think it may seem a little weak, and wouldn't be useful in PVP
Here is the link to the skill trees for all the abilities here

(thank you That halo dude for starting the thread with the original link above)
Now right now we don't know exactly how all the abilities work or what the other 2 modifiers for the Shadow Shot are, which could make it even more deadly.
Now you may think it just slows and suppresses enemies only useful when its Enemies are together
But you may overlook something
It suppresses them
Now the suppressed debuff works like this
it stops guardians from using any abilities whether its jumping abilities or melee abilities or their supers and if they are in mid super when the (grenade from titan or Shadow shot) hits them it'll force them out of their super.
The Shadow Shot is the ultimate counter super
Fellow hunter using Golden Gun or Arc Blade?
Not anymore
New warlock or titan super coming towards you? Nope, they're suppressed.
Also from the gameplay it looks like it fires instantly so no deployment time or super running out.
It can be used offensively as well with the perk, Rapid Shot:
after firing your initial Shadow shot arrow, you may fire up to two explosive arrows in quick succession.
Basically allowing you to do damage with your super and kill anything ensnared
The melee, Smoke seems a little... odd but still useful and powerful coupled with envenomed poisoning enemies when within its cloud.
Anyway we still need to actually use the subclass, but just from the perks it seems pretty powerful and not really that weak.

As an avid Hunter, I'm will use this spec specifically to snare flag carriers and those attempting to kill my flag carrier in the new CTF game types. I will also thoroughly enjoy suppressing and slowing every Titan who has ever fist of panic'd me in Crucible. Seriously though, as someone who enjoys playing all three classes, I'm looking forward to all of the new subclasses!

It still seems incredibly situational. I might use my super then get killed by Thorn because I cast a super instead of shooting. Defender and Sunsinger have more obvious 1v1 potential than ShadowShot. It looks cool and has a sweet name. I'm just not convinced it'll be that useful. My first character was a Hunter, but the more I play, the more I like the other classes... I don't know...

I mainly play defender with my titan. With some creativity and the right perks it can be both super useful, and extremely aggressive. The hunter bow is a support super. The tian has defender, and the warlock has sunsinger. Having a defender weapons of light bubble can make short work of some bosses when everyone uses it. The hunter can't really support the team right now, so it will be nice to have a support class. And regardless I'm sure once players get their hands on it they'll figure out unique new uses for the bow.

Titan goes Into his mad Flamming Hammer, I hop up hitting him with my bow, he's out of his super, I finish him. He now knows how I felt everytime I tried to arcblade and he just smashed the ground like a rabid ape.
