I hate to immediately critique 343 on Infection (one of the best game modes in Halo history) but why are they using ugly solid green player models over the actual Flood combat forms form Halo 4? Infection is way scarier when there is an actually Flood creature chasing you down.

由A Jackal Sniper編輯: 4/6/2016 12:20:59 PMBecause they were shit. Every time you killed someone it made some weird ass horse scream.

They should go with H2A Flood instead. It looks better, and it allows the use of all weapons.

Probably because the flood models were hated by many. Made loud screeches, had a sickening filter over the whole screen, could not be customized in the slightest.... Flood in halo 4 was just terrible. If they bring it in as an optional skin for halo 5 I won't mind, but I am certainly glad that we aren't stuck using the flood models. Now as long as the custom game options are good, we will see some actually fun infection for the first time in years.

I think they did it because a majority of custom games that defaulted on infection could not be exported to h4 because of static character models and weapons that to my knowledge could not be altered in the game mode menu. This is just me speculating as this could be the same thing.

Well they were disliked by a fair few and 343 just can't seem to win either way. Give new models for infection? Players 'aww I wanted the old ones' Uses old models? Players 'man 343 are so lazy they didn't even give us new infected!'

Because those models didn't allow you to customize anything about the zombies. You couldn't change their starting weapon and we're stuck with disgusting squelch and screams whenever playing as them, which was just annoying.
