If the leaks on Rise of Iron are true well it pains me to say this but i'm just gonna have to stop playing Destiny... maybe even snap the disc in half because it isn't even worth it to sell back to a place like gamestop for a mere $1-$2. I have been playing since the beta. And in the first year alone I have had a total of well over 700+ hours clocked in playing. And this was on the PS3 I also paid for Dark below and House of Wolves without paying for the expansion pass.
So that was $40 I also paid for the $40 The Taken King Expansion also on the PS3. And just 2 weeks after hard mode Kings Fall dropped I was finally able to upgrade from PS3-PS4 which I might add was an un-expected upgrade. and I had pre-ordered each expansion as well. And so when I did get on the PS4 and re bought the base game Destiny I found out the hard way that well... only 2 out of the 3 expansions where in the upgraded program so there for I ended up wasted $40 by mistake. And without the taken king you can hardly do anything on Destiny as some might know.
And so if the leaks are true that you will need the taken king I will stop playing Destiny unless they bundle them both together for a discounted price say like $40-$50. Because if Rise of Iron is as big as they are saying and it's expected to have a $40+ price tag... i'm not spending over $100 just to re play the game I once loved and re buy content I already paid for at full price or $20+ more then the original price.
So sorry Bungie I had an amazing time and met some awesome people but this might be what kills Destiny for about 25%-50% of the people who play Destiny which means Destiny might end up dead soon after Rise of Iron drops.

由Mickey Padge編輯: 6/10/2016 7:27:09 PMSpending $100's on digital content for a ten year old console, multiple purchases during to being an imbecile, blames game developer for his own stupidity.....

"At the same time, we will also continue to support players who elect not to upgrade their console hardware. This Fall, you’ll still be able to play Destiny on legacy generation consoles, but that journey will occur on a separate path. - Deej It sounds like old-gen is getting something. It may not be RoI, but it sounds like something.

由DizzyDog85編輯: 6/9/2016 6:28:52 AMWhat I took away from this wall of text is: You had a PS3, got a PS4, liked Destiny so much that you bought it again on PS4, forgot how to read, bought the wrong version and now, a year down the road, you're cheaping out and abandoning all the progress you've made? Just keep a lookout for sales over the summer. I picked up the Expansion Pass last summer on XB1 for relatively cheap. I'd be surprised if they don't put TTK on sale at some point to help hype people up for Rise of Iron.

Pretty sure nearly 200k people watched the livestream reveal. Destiny is not dead by any means. Stop being a little ball sack.

Rise of iron is only $30, they also said they will "speak soon" as bungie like to say, about people upgrading from last to next gen and what might happen there so i would stay hopeful for some kind of legendary edition like there was for TTK

It's already been said that the leak was a hoax. There is no new expansion this year Gosh people do your research

Boohoo, you should have known this would come one day; 11 year old console. PS4/One have been out for 3 years, that's .27 dollars a day to save up to 300 USD over three years. Is that hard to come by? Also, D2 is going to be next gen only any way, will y'all be crying then too?

Let's see 2+ years of a game that you've clearly spent nearly 1000 hours on... 200÷24=8 dollars a month for about 30 hours of entertainment a month...so roughly you're paying for netflix...which hopefully you haven't spent 30 hours a month watching... Seems like a fair value I'd say
