Here is how,
Killing empowerment is a power that you become stronger and faster by killing. You can also gain new powers and so on.
But there's more than just that.
Oryx's taken power is absolute will, to implant your will into someone else.
Users become stronger, faster, more durable, etc. by killing others, possibly unlocking abilities related to the affinity and enhancing the existing powers. Some users may be able draw sustenance from the kills or even slow or stop aging.
Killing empowerment was a concept before sword logic.
-
This is a serious simplification of the sword logic Its more philosophical for the hive, for them, if it can be killed by you, then it doesnt deserve to live, and you are cleansing the universe bringing it closer to its perfect shape
-
Uh... so what? I don't see the point here. Are you saying that you're mad Bungie used an existing philosophy as inspiration for their game? I'm shocked. How could they do such a thing
-
Really a dubbed down version of the sword logic. It's not just a way of gaining power but a religion and a way of life in the throne worlds. If you exist in the throne world, you abide by the sword logic.

由Destro_Night編輯: 6/25/2016 9:07:32 PMSimple, dumbed down version of sword logic. It's like an rpg, you kill the stuff, you get the experience, get the experience, get the level up, get the level up, get more power, then kill more stuff, stronger stuff, to get more exp, and so on and so on

So I guess Kirby kind of uses "sword logic" to defeat his enemies. He gets empowered by absorbing his defeated foes. Therefore, Kirby could kill Oryx?
-
It's more than that. Sword logic. Knowledge is power. Power is pain. Pain is life. Is the fundamental of sword logic. Killing proves you're right to exist over what you killed and proving your existence to be powerful brings knowledge of the secrets of the deep. Which in turn grants more power. Which needs more pain giving and taking life.. ad infinitum Oryx is more than a master of will he's a master of shapes reshaping things to his will. Planets, being, realities, all things shapable given sufficient power.

I think you mean Killing empowerment = Worm Gods. Sword Logic itself is just a way of thinking, not spooky space magic

American Indians believed that when two warriors engaged in battle, the winner took the defeated's soul with them. This is sword-logic in its most basic form
