Triple Threat Titans 59- The Death of the Deathsinger
Yes, your wonderful Splash is back in the saddle.
Will this be a long chapter? I dunno.
And I've been waiting FOREVER to type this chapter. Especially the (True) pun at the very end.

**This is from Sarah's view**
I led them into the shrieker hallway. I pulled out my Gjallarhorn, and fired away.
"Run to the end of the hallway, and jump down the hole, I got the Shriekers," I said.
I followed them, stopping to fire my Gjallarhorn at whatever shrieker I ran into. I jumped down the hole.
"Hey guys," Mark-54 said, "You know how your body normally flies backwards when you die?"
"What about it?" Chase asked.
"When you shoot your foot in this pool of water, your body falls forward," Mark said.
"What?!?" Kyra asked.
"He's lying, Kyra," I said, "C'mon. We have three wizards to kill before we start on Crota. Three of us will go left, other three will go right.
There will a wizard on the side you're She will chase you. Lure her out, and two people will kill her.
Finally, we'll go left and assault the final wizard. We have to kill her in 60 seconds or this wizard will kill us all."
"Chase, Blake, and I will go left," JJ said, "You three will go right."
"Go, now!" I called out.
We ran to are positions.
Mark lured out the wizard on my side. Kyra and I killed the wizard.
Then, the three of us rushed to the left. We began to damage the middle wizard.
But, I froze in my tracks. The wizard We were damaging was Ir Yùt, the Deathsinger. The same wizard who punishs me with nightmares.
Show reverence, child, She said in my head telepathically.
I realized I was under a spell, Ir Yùt was using her arcana, her knowledge of my being, to control me. The wizards are always whispering around some sort of secret about me and Mia.
Then, I saw as my team were collapsing around me. That damn wizard was multitasking. She was singing her song of death, and distracting me.
To my surprise, I did not fall. The Deathsinger hissed at me in her native tounge, "Why didn't you die?"
"I do not know," I replied.
"I had literally just refined it, you b***h," Ir Yùt barked.
"I would have never thought the quiddity of death wouldn't kill me."
"You don't have any allies left, child. You are was weak as my thrall."
"I do have one ally left for sure. We are bound in blood, Arc, and Void."
The Deathsinger paused for a moment. That was when she realized who I was.
"You are weaker than I thought," Ir Yùt said.
"Just give me back my friends' lives and I won't call on her," I threatened.
"You underestimate me in this state. You see, no blade, no bullet, and no Light can harm me right now. You have 60 seconds to kill me, before-"
"Before what?"
"Boys!"
Four knights stepped out of the shadows guarding the four corners of the room.
"Before my boys kill you. And right before you die, the world, as you thought it was, will end," Ir Yùt announced proudly.
I searched my mind for something that might help me. The only things I found useful were two hyms. I also had two brands. But, I know a how to use them.
"15 seconds... Your world is about to be crushed," the Deathsinger warned.
I silently and quickly activated the brands.
"Oryx is not your father..."
I breathed a sigh of relief. I quietly began to chant both of the hyms at the same time.
"... My knights killed your real father. And your mother is still alive. Oh, what a shame it'll be to find out that one of her daughters, that she has been trying to find for the past 25 years, died in the Hellmouth."
I sang both the Hym of Weaving, and the Dirge of Unraveling, simultaneously, at the loudest pitch my voice could hit. It was a little trick Halak taught me back in the day.
I had learned both of the Deathsongs. And two is greater than one that's watered down from the original.
Almost everything within a mile radius was dead, but me. What was left, was a note attached to a sniper rifle, The Hym of Weaving, AND the Dirge of Unraveling? That was impressive. Well played, young Grey. Well played.
The Ghosts came out from my pockets (right before the encounter I had to stuff them into my pockets).
I revived everyone. And I explained what happened.
"So... Turns out you aren't related to Crota, huh?" Blake asked.
"Yeah.... I still want my revenge, though. Crota killed thousands of Guardians," I said.
"Yeah, so you killed a Deathsinger. Shouldn't you be more powerful?" Kyra asked.
"I do feel more powerful. I was already immune to extreme Hive Sorcery. Now, since Crota's Presence stops health regeneration, my presence nerf his sword attacks, so they won't kill you."
To be continued...
