How would you feel about the idea of Nintendo deciding to stop producing home consoles, and instead developing games that will be officially sold for and playable on PC, PlayStation and Xbox?
We're not talking about the 3DS or anything like that. Those are great. We're just talking about systems like the Wii and Switch.
What gamers don't seem to understand is that Nintendo tries to steer away from the usual home console experience, instead opting for a change in the status quo, trying to cater all audiences, and delivering the core of what gaming is: Having fun.
It is not about having eye popping graphics, or having the yearly 3rd party AAAs, Nintendo was never about that, it was about having fun. The ideas they want to portrait CAN'T BE DONE ON OTHER CONSOLES because it doesn't suit their vision.
