Lost to light black spindle
Have been trying to help my friend get black spindle, and every time we run lost to light on heroic, the doors aren't open. Is it meant to be like that and we now have to wait for it to be daily or is there an actual issue?

So, after some testing, I was able to determine the criteria that is currently set in place as of the time of my reply here. As far as this mission is concerned, the criteria is as follows: •Mission must be on Hard Mode •Must not wipe(players can die, but you cannot get the wipe screen) •There IS a FOUR MINUTE time limit from the time that the shadow veil disappears and you can start running, to the time that you enter the third door area and hear Eris's voice again. •Once aboard the ship the secret encounter timer starts upon entering the first room where enemies spawn Hope this helps. Hiya Oobie! You seem to have most of the requirements down, so the issue is most likely how fast you're getting to the door. We used to be able to take our time with it, but it seems like they've added a timer in. From what I've heard it's about 8 minutes.
