Have you ever had your save overwritten?
Last night I wanted to make a new save in fire emblem fates...ended up forgetting where the game places your cursor. Accidentally saved over a game where I was nearly at the final chapter, with some pretty good stats across all my characters (not perfect, for instance I had some troops who didn't even use magic stuff, that had like 10 magic because I think I accidentally used an item on them while diviner troops struggled against everything because of strength boosts). My only battle save had been a bit further into he game (not current chapter but not too far away) but it was during invasion 2 and I had 4 troops left...so it's a dud.
This was the first fire emblem game I've ever played, so it was a bit crushing to have all that progress erased, but at least I can start from scratch knowing what I know now.
What about you guys? Ever have a save overwritten? How did it happen?
[spoiler]Edit: ok, ive restarted on classic and it's made me realize how reckless I've been playing and like I can't rescue Kana now because I can't hold the line without someone dying from the falconknights. [/spoiler]

由SpongyMallard7編輯： 1/23/2017 1:46:53 AMI once saved over a level 60 Skyrim character. My GameCube memory card once got corrupted and messed up all our games and we had to redo everything except Melee, thankfully we were able to copy a save from a friend.

I don't recall that ever happening, but I did have a save corrupted once. I was playing Dark Souls and was on my way to fight Gwyn. I was in a hurry and didn't have time to mess around. Someone invaded me, so instead of fighting them I just cut off the Xbox. The next time I loaded the game up, my save file was corrupted. I was pretty pissed.

On Skyrim, I had a battlemage Breton and had started a new character recently, a Redguard. The Breton was level 60 and the Redguard was 10 I think. I had thought I made a new save for him, but a few days later I found out I actually overwritten the Bretons save. RIP Breton.

1 回覆I was really drunk one night and thought I was in the "load game" page and selected a character.... Alas I was in save game and overwrote character... Le sigh...

2 回覆Pokemon Diamond. Four different times. All because my little cousin doesnt understand that you cant save more than one character. I was past the Elite Four all four times. It was a fun af game but I wasnt dealing with that trash anymore. Coincidentally, after I decided that, my little cousin also got bored of it as well.

It probably happened at least 3 times. She never understood why it was such a big deal and I just had to get over it and start over. [spoiler]:'([/spoiler]

I had just gotten platinum god for the binding of issac rebirth in time for the console release of the afterbirth expansion. The problem was that apparently the vita can't handle afterbirth so I had to play on ps4. So while trying to upload my save, I accidentally download an essentially blank save file. 100 hours just gone. I gave up on the game for a while. I'm back now and finished the post its but still have to do challenges which are just hellish.

In Fallout New Vegas (first fallout game is played, I was really bad, knew nothing, and was focusing too much on non-combat skills for early game to be easy). So me with 60 speech is getting murdered repetitively on a lone road. They tell me I need to make it to some motel with a dinosaur outside. I go through like 3 hours of running from bandits and monsters that pushed me off the main road, finally reaching the motel. I'm like "thank god. I'm going to buy a room and sleep so hard." Then the game froze while loading the inside of the motel. No auto saves existed until before I'd started the road journey. Oh, and that one time my friend pinned me down and deleted my 100% complete Super Mario Galaxy 2 save. Which I did all over again.

Back in the days of ps2, my brother had accidentally over written my saved file of final fantasy x. I had just gotten passed the calm lands and everything was gone. Had to start all over during my summer break. Now i keep two saved files for every rpg game i play.

1 回覆When I was younger, my sister erased my Lego Star Wars game with literally everything collected and maxed out in every possible way... it was soul crushing.
