4th CLASS, 4th SUBCLASS, AND CHOICE OF GOOD OR EVIL
4th CLASS:
I, like many of you, have been playing Destiny for years. Having 3 characters with different play-styles seems to be a good balance in PvP, but now with the introduction of Hawthorne, I believe we should have a 4th class to create. Civilian, Rogue, whatever you want to call it. With the traveller now free from the Red Legion, who's to say that it wouldn't give selective citizens some form of light like guardians for their efforts, effectively making them one? Having a 4th class would give players another way to go about the game.
4th SUBCLASS:
I know many changes have been made to D1's Arc, Solar, and Void subclasses, but an introduction of a new subclass would attract many players simply because they'd want to try it out. Online I've seen several ideas of what the fourth subclass could be but my personal favorite is the idea of a "Decay" subclass that kind of mimics the Hive's dark magic. Void's lore is definitely a dark subclass, but Decay could be deemed straight-up evil. Which actually leads me to my last point...
GOOD OR EVIL:
Being a guardian, we're told straight from the start that we are to protect the worlds from fallen, vex, hive, cabal, and taken. Even the name "guardian" itself shouts "HERO"! At some point in playing, I often thought to myself "wouldn't it be possible for a guardian to take the light he's been given and use it for an evil purpose?". By introducing an Alliance/Hord-esq decision, this would give the player even more to explore with different missions, storylines, and NPCs. Being able to choose whether or not you use your powers for good or evil is, in my opinion, the basic foundation of any great rpg. I know many of you believe this sounds like WoW, and in a way I agree, but by being forced to only do good, we limit ourselves to what we can do in the game as well as the storyline's outcome.
If you've read this far, I thank you kindly for letting me voice my opinion/suggestions. If you have any other suggestions PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT AND UPVOTE so others can see! I truly believe D1/D2 are great games, but they have the potential to be so much more!
