I was playing around last night trying to figure out how to get my beloved Titan skate back. Well after a bit of experimenting I believe I found the way and it is lovely! Bungie returned in air acceleration speeds to those of Destiny 1, but didn't change the Titan boost. In D1 you got 3 speed boosts in air, sometimes 4 if you spammed fast enough. In order to compensate for this change, switch your jump to strafe lift which gives you great horizontal boost. I hate jumping on Titan with catapult and shooting up. It works my nerves because it slows progress. Equip lion rampant exotic legs and it extends your boost back to what it used to be. Now you get 3 and even 4 speed boosts while jumping just like in D1. This made me love my Titans increased jump speed.
