I got Destiny 2 for free a few days ago and after a long, long download I bumped into a problem.
Once I launch the game I get an error saying I should restart the game through the battle.net app, which I launched it from to begin with.
I already tried a scan & repair on my game files, adding the files to my allowed through firewall list, I reinstalled the battle.net client and I tried 2 accounts. Is this something on bungie's end?
Thanks in advance
Hi. Thanks for your report. You'relaunching the game from the Battle.net app, correct?
Players may encounter SAXOPHONE errors on PC when Blizzard services are unable to authenticate a player’s purchase or login when they launch Destiny 2. View our SAXOPHONE article for more information.
Additionally, some players have reported that creating a new Windows profile has helped with this issue.
You may want to follow these steps to refresh your game license:
(1) Close the Battle.net app.
(2) Via a web browser; change your battle.net password
(3) Restart Destiny 2 via the Battle.net app

Hope some of these steps can help.
Same error, I don't understand.
edit: I've tried reinstalling battle.net, I've tried restarting my whole pc. Really don't want to try reinstalling the entire game because 80gb is a lot.
