Hello everyone.
The infusion cap may add some more variety in our weapon arsenal, but I am feeling so sad about my armor sets that I grinded more than half year will be power capped and I could not use it in relevant activities. Armor pieces cannot use mods that are added after 1 season, so I don't understand why we need armor infusion cap. I like the feature that allow us to combine mods from different seasons, so if the new season comes and I like 1 or may be 2 mods from the new mods added in the season, I don't need to grind all the set, I will grind only one piece and use it with anti-hive or anti-taken sets. For example I can use armor set with mods: Hive barrier, Hive armory, protective light, taking charge and after infusion cap I will not be able to make such combination. I also liked the seraph weapon mods combined with charged with light mods. This combinations makes me enjoy of armor set variety, because I can pick one of my sets and play different styles. I really enjoy the game, but the infusion cap prevents me to enter and play the game, because I know that all armor sets that I grinded so hard for my play styles will be not usable in next season or two.
You can say that I can steel use the sets in strikes and mission and other repetitive stuff, but these activities isn't interesting, because I did them hundreds of times. I can finish these activities with blue armors and guns, but the new interesting stuff like raid or solo flawless dungeon are required for the best armor sets and gear.
Bungie, please, add infusion cap only for weapons, but not for armor. Getting new weapons with interesting rolls may be interesting, but farming every year for armor sets that takes more than half year isn't the right thing.
Best wishes.
