This was too big to fit in one post, so I'm going to have to break it into 2. This should catch you lot up on Aifos' story enough to get my story/RP posts rolling
The Many Faces of Aifos
The First Aifos
The original. Was orphaned at a young age, with no recollection of what happened to his family. While he would've likely died on his own, he was rescued by a woman named Sofia, who gave him a magical necklace called the Amulet of Avalor, before dropping him off at an orphanage. Unable to remember his own name, he adopted the name "Aifos" after his savior, and vowed to follow in her footsteps to be a hero.
His quest to do that eventually wound up with him joining an organization called Flip Flap, and often teaming up with the Pure Barrier: Papika. However, this quest also brought him into contact with several villains, included but not limited to; Relius Clover, Hazama, and the evil sorceress Vor.
The latter one on that list eventually wound up killing him.
Powers/Artifacts: The Amulet of Avalor, Alchemy, The Dream Rod
Current Status: Deceased, killed by Vor.
Theme Song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YFj2Hjcn2LE
The Second Aifos/Sophie
In Relius Clover's many attempts to steal the Amulet from The First, he eventually learned enough about it to create a replica. However, due to the nature of the Amulet's power, said replica had the potential side effect of killing him. As such, he created a clone of Aifos to use it for him. This clone prefers to be called "Second" or "The Second Aifos", but The First and Papika like to call him Sophie
After Relius' eventual death, he began to question his purpose in the world, and like all edgy anti-heroes, stoically walked away, his cape fluttering in the wind.
Due to the instability of his version of the Amulet, he can't reliably depend on its powers, but he is skilled in sword combat!
Powers/Artifacts: Amulet of Avalor Replica, Soul Silver Rapier
Current Status: Unknown

Skullheart Aifos
Killed by Vor, Aifos soul was left adrift in an empty void. In this void, the goddess Lamia found him, and offered him a way out; the Skull Heart. He accepted, making a wish upon the artifact to create the Soul Manipulation Device, in addition to becoming a powerful lich. However, he was also trapped in a constant battle against Lamia, for control of his own mind and body.
He was eventually killed by Blaze, who destroyed the Skull Heart, and its user with it, after Lamia finally took complete control.
Powers/Artifacts: Necromancy, Alchemy, The Amulet of Avalor, The SMD
Current Status: Deceased, killed by Blaze
Theme Song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RZ8y37jMX4A
Parallel Aifos
When Skullheart came into being, one of the old foes-turned-maybe-ally Aifos had encountered on his journey named Hyness decided to play his own hand in defeating him, by creating a clone using a Jamba Heart. This clone, unlike Sophie, was still connected to Aifos' soul, more like two halves a whole than two separate people.
He set out on a quest to not only defeat Skullheart, but find a way to save him! To this end, he teamed up with the Super Spy and Master of Espionage: Kampan, who said they could find a legendary hero named Eurynomous in her home of the Iron Kingdom. Kampan's motivations, as it turned out, weren't completely noble, and she was planning to turn in Aifos, so the queen of the Iron Kingdom, Mary, could study the Jamba Heart.
Even though Kampan eventually took his side in the end, it was not enough to save him from the Iron Kingdom's guns, reuniting his soul with Skullheart..
Powers/Artifacts: Alchemy, the Amulet of Avalor, The Jamba Heart
Current Status: Deceased, killed by Iron Kingdom soldiers
Theme Song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tJjxKhjR9H4
Xi-14
Unbeknownst to him, Aifos' soul was undergoing a tug of war between the Skull Heart and the Amulet. Eventually, with Hyness' creation of Parallel, this caused a rift that could never be healed, and so when Skullheart was killed, his soul split in two. One half was rescued by Kokonoe, and placed within a type of android known as a Boundary Interface Prime Field Device, model number: Xi-14.
Not realizing that she was working with half a soul, Kokonoe didn't properly prepare the body to hold it. With increasing episodes of "Soul Dissonance" threatening to tear him apart, he's now a part of a desperate race to find and unite his other half..
How will this story end? Stay tuned to find out!
His half of the soul holds; Empathy, Joy, Courage, and Compassion.
Powers/Artifacts: Murakumo Combat Systems, Flight
Current Status: Searching for Six
Theme Song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4btlbFEN_wA
Six/Sapphire
The other half of Aifos' soul was nabbed by his weapon; The Soul Manipulation Device. A girl named Sapphire, bored of her mundane life, eventually found the SMD, and got possessed via a stab wound to the eye. Strangely okay with being possessed, the two find themselves on the same page; find their other half. Despite the similar motives, however, she often finds herself confronting Xi in combat, due to their differing preferred methods of how exactly to reunite their soul.
Unlike Xi, Six doesn't encounter any Soul Dissonance due to Sapphire's soul propping his up. Despite the lack of outward systems, though, they're still on a time limit, before Aifos' soul tears itself apart..
Her half of the soul holds; Fear, Anger, Sadness, and Love.
Powers/Artifacts: Magitech Glove, SMD
Current Status: Searching for Xi-14, and being mad at everyone
Theme Song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PtuLniq1Qjg
Divine
A bottomless curse..
An endless dream..
All things that exist..
Bound by a string..
Listen for the baneful chants..
Weep with them as one in trance..
And weep with us..
Oh weep with us..
A goddess one, A goddess three..
One in a castle, one in the sea.
And one so very close..
Yes, just out of reach.
Everyone wants the Big Chair.
So a curse here, a curse there.
A curse for he and she,
Why care?
Weep with us.. Just weep with us..
Weep for all that may be.

The Good Guys
Cocona & Papika
The two halves of the "Direct Drive". Cocona, the Pure Blade, represents offense, while Papika, the Pure Barrier, represents Defense. Within the alternate dimension of Pure Illusion, this allows them to tap into near infinite power, but while efforts to channel that power outside of which haven't been fruitless, they haven't quite hit that level in our world.
Cocona is a bit shy, and reserved, while Papika is outgoing and.. Well, a little stupid. Their powers are strongest when they're together, but they can still access a decent amount by having Aifos use the Amulet of Avalor.
Papika used the Skull Heart, and self destructed to kill Relius, and as such the Papika alive now isn't actually the original, but a memory created by Aifos using the Dream Rod.
They belong to, and are the primary operatives of, Flip Flap.
Cocona's Status: Working for Flip Flap to study Pure Illusion
Cocona's Powers (outside PI): Can summon a shapeshifting sword, and fly. Is very fast.
Papika's Status: Deceased/Dream Rod Projection, working for Flip Flap to study Pure Illusion
Papika's Powers (outside PI): Can summon a shapeshifting shield (the smaller the stronger), has a pair of shoulder mounted laser cannons, can summon magic exploding and/or bouncy water.
Yayaka
The third agent of Flip Flap. Unlike the other two, attempts to channel her powers into the real world without the Amulet have failed, and so she's forced to resort to physical weaponry. Despite this, she's arguably the strongest member of the team.. And also the most rebellious.
Arrogant, and proud, she challenged Skullheart Aifos to a duel, as he began to lose his humanity to Lamia. The battle resulted in her death, and ultimately, the grief of which allowed Lamia to take control of Aifos completely.
Current Status: Deceased/Crystallized soul trapped within the SMD.
Powers/Artifacts: A pair of waist-mounted grappling hooks. Can be detonated as explosives by striking the string. Is very fast.
Hidaka, Sayuri, and Salt
The remaining people working at Flip Flap. Hidaka, and Sayuri are scientists, mostly working behind the scenes. Salt is the one in charge of the operation.
Powers/Artifacts: N/A. There are basic robotic defenses at Flip Flap, though.
-
The Good Guys (cont.) Kokonoe
A scientist not too different from Relius, seeking knowledge at most any cost. Unlike him, though, she recognizes her limits, and isn't as obsessed with power. Cold and calculating, many of the operations to take down the big villains, such as Relius and Skullheart Aifos, are thanks to her working behind the scenes. She hates Flip Flap's laid back attitude. She revived Aifos as Xi-14 as thanks for his help with Relius, but made a misstep in not realizing that the Skull Heart had torn Aifos' soul in two, and so the body isn't wholly compatible with him. Though she is trying to reunite the two halves, this is made a bit harder by the fact that Six doesn't trust her.. Current Status: Working to reunite Xi and Six's souls. Powers/Artifacts: If you can think of a personal weapon, from guns, to swords, to rocket fists, and drill hammers, Kokonoe's probably got one stashed away somewhere, ready to summon at her beck and call. She doesn't like to fight, though. She also is currently in command of the Gigant: Takemikazuchi.
Lambda-11 and Iron Tager
Kokonoe's two main soldiers. Lambda is a Prime Field Device, just like Xi-14, hence the similar names. Though Lambda may seem emotionless at first, if you can get past her monotone voice, she's actually very sweet, and caring. Tager is a soft-spoken, but ruthless brute. Don't get on his bad side. Current Status (both): Working for Kokonoe. Lambda's powers: Much like Xi, she has a Murakumo Combat system. Tager's powers: Very strong, very durable, very slow. Can telekinetically pull opponents towards him.
Zizou Olympia
A goddess of magic, in charge of managing Syega, a sort of magical crystal that powers just about everything in a far off land. She arrived in the capital with a mysterious chant accompanying her. She doesn't know why she's here, or who brought her.. But also doesn't really seem to care. She's very laid back, and lazy, but, as her name suggests, she's very adept at magic. Current Status: Lazing about the capital. Powers/Artifacts: Various types of magic.
The Good(?) Guys Kampan
The Iron Mouse! Super spy and master of espionage! Kampan works in service to Queen Mary of the Iron Kingdom, despite also breaking many laws on her own time.. Snarky, chipper, and overconfident, but with a strong sense of justice (as long as stealing's okay!), Kampan often serves the role of deceiving people into walking right into Mary's traps. Indeed, this is the fate that befell Parallel Aifos when Mary wanted the Jamba Heart. Still, she (usually) winds up on the same side as the heroes! After all, a little pickpocketing here and there doesn't mean she wants the world to end! Current Status: Somewhere in the Iron Kingdom Powers/Artifacts: Her right arm is replaced with a giant fist bigger than her head. Very good at punching.
Queen Mary
Queen of the Iron Kingdom. Proud, and obsessed with technology, she sometimes gets a bit carried away in her ruthless ambitions. Deep down, though, she has a good heart, and ultimately just wants what's best for her people. Despite killing Parallel Aifos, her keen negotiation skills have actually gotten her an alliance with both Kokonoe, and Flip Flap, so she'll be in good hands if anyone attacks! Current Status: Ruling the Iron Kingdom
Lord Hyness, Officiant Of Doom
With a name like "Officiant of Doom" he's probably up to something rotten, and sure enough he was in the past. In possession of the Jamba Heart, one of the Wicked Nine, he tricked Aifos into helping him with a dark ritual, in exchange for the Dream Rod. Despite all that, though, he seems to have turned over a new leaf after Aifos dealt with him a while back, and he even created Parallel to help deal with Skullheart, and he currently has a peace treaty with the people of Earth(?). ...But, one must always remain on guard.. Current Status: Searching for something... Powers/Artifacts: Possesses the heart of a dead god, and can use many different forms of magic. Has an army of (somewhat weak) magic constructs.
The Generals of Magic
Lord Hyness' loyal subjects, Zan Partizanne (lightning), Fransisca (ice), and Flamberge (fire). Flamberge is hot headed, and quick to anger, Fransisca is cool, and collected, while Partizanne is their commander, and fiercely loyal to Hyness. Current Status: Searching for something... Powers/Artifacts: Each one has elemental magic (listed above), and magical summonable weapons that reflect their names.
The Bad Guys Relius Clover
Power hungry, and thirsty for knowledge at any cost, Relius became obsessed with retrieving the Amulet of Avalor, to use its power for his own gain. Though he failed time, and time again, he eventually wound up creating two replicas; one, an unstable prototype, he gave to his Aifos clone, Sophie. The second, a perfected model, he gave to himself, and used to capture the souls of Noel Vermilion, Rachel Alucard, and Hakumen, giving him immense power. He was eventually stopped by Papika, who had accepted the Skull Heart, and used its power to self destruct, killing the both of them, and setting the souls he had imprisoned free. Current Status: Deceased, killed by Papika Powers/Artifacts: Ignis, Amulet of Avalor replica (perfect), The Susano'o Unit (Hakumen's soul), the Tsukuyomi Unit (Rachel's soul), loose access to the Master Unit Amaterasu (Noel's soul), Gigant: Takemikazuchi
Nu-13
A Prime Field Device, like Lambda. Unlike Lambda, however, she works for Relius. Cold, ruthless, and completely loyal, she follows Relius' commands without mercy or hesitation. Her ultimate goal is to sacrifice herself, along with Ragna, to become the Black Beast.. Though, that has very little to do with Aifos' story. While Xi and Lambda are both Murakumo Units as well, their Murakumo systems are replicas, and Nu possesses the original. This makes her much stronger than either of them (though Xi wasn't active yet, at this time). She was heavily wounded in a battle against Skullheart Papika, and hasn't been seen since. Her corpse was never recovered, however, so she is presumed alive. Current status: Unknown. Powers/Artifacts: Divine Radiance: Murakumo
Hazama
A former ally of Relius. Laid back, and calm most of the time, but also terribly sadistic, and cruel. Upon Relius' death, he set out to try and resurrect him, when he stumbled upon the Amulet of Vor. The soul trapped with in, that of the titular sorceress, made a promising deal with him, and he dropped his search to resurrect Relius, and set out to find the Wicked Nine. At the end of it all, Vor revealed to him that the final one of the Nine was actually the Azure Grimiore; a magical doodad that made up his body, and so he was consumed for her revival. After a complicated chain of events, the Nine, and Vor got separated from one another, without either being destroyed, and so Hazama was briefly revived. A bit angry at being betrayed, he helped defeat the sorceress once and for all, at the cost of his own life. Current Status: Deceased, killed by Vor Powers/Artifacts: Geminus Anguium: Ouroborous, Azure Grimiore (his body)
Vor
An ancient, and powerful sorceress. She was killed once, but her soul managed to cling to the mortal plane, and so she was in turn sealed in a magical necklace. In a last ditch attempt to not die, she broke off nine small pieces of her soul, and sent them scouring across the universe. Due to her own evil intentions, they were naturally drawn to objects used for great evil. Said objects became known as the Wicked Nine, and by bringing them together, she could revive herself. She was revived by Hazama, but was eventually killed again by the combined efforts of The First Aifos, Hazama, Cocona, and Papika, however the battle resulted in the former two's death. Strangely, her soul didn't seem to make any attempt to hang onto the mortal plane, this time...? Current Status: Deceased, killed by Aifos, Hazama, Cocona, and Papika Powers/Artifacts: Powerful magic, The Wicked Nine
The modern definition of a "dump" is as of now, out of circulation in the garbage world. Dumps are illegal and dangerous. Garbage scattered randomly in a concentrated area would be referred to as such. "Landfill" is the term to use here. A landfill is quite safe and sanctioned by local and national health authorities. Your "Lore dump" as you call is a blatant callout for a mass dirtying of our streets and cities. I must therefore inform you that I must report this topic and all others you have or will have ever made.
