Don't be stuck with your head in the past. Adapt to the situation! I am a Titan player since D1 beta and I barely ever used SC in PvP. If you rely on a OHK ability by default to get kills, you should rethink your approach to pvp.
With the exotic boots you will still be able to OHK. With the gauntlets you can still sometimes OHK. That means people have to actually think about their approach to a situation with SC. Hunters and Warlocks can't complain anymore that it is "stupid monkey OHK bullshit".
You know it. I know it. You know that I know that you know.
Stop crying and train yourself already. It is not that hard to adapt in Destiny 2.

Why should I waste my exotic slot for an armor piece that I'll only use when I have my melee ability charged just so it can do what it's been doing for 7 years? All while Hunters still have throwing knife (OHK to the head) and now Flux nade (also a OHK)?

It isn’t about crying or adapting. I haven’t used SC in a very long time and I don’t plan to anytime soon, but I still disagree with the changes. Or at least how they sound. I think it’s an unnecessary change. Now if they were doing this in an effort to get rid of all 1 shots? that would be understandable. But they aren’t.

由Bhulk, Disciple of Fitness編輯: 11/23/2021 3:25:12 PMIt’s a hollow buff. Pergrine will still suck, and so will SC if primaries aren’t drastically buffed. I am complaining because no one even wanted this, or the HHSN nerfs, or the class nerfs. I want to use abilties in Destiny, Destiny without abilities is boring and stale. If these changes aren’t carried out correctly, the same problems in Y1 will happen again here.

Let's be real: Shoulder charge wasn't really busted. It was a short range OHK melee that required a sprint to charge up. If you were paying attention even a little you could see it coming and blast them with a shotgun, fusion, or whatever short range weapon you had equipped. But now... I think complaints about shoulder charge are actually going to increase! It'll be better than it is now: It'll have more range, be easier to hit, it'll charge faster. Sure you can't spam it like you can with skullfort, you'll have to use Peregrine Greaves to get the OHK, but who cares? Shoulder chargers will just run crazy strength builds and maybe Monte Carlo. I have a bad feeling about all of this...

How garbage do you have to be at the game that you desperately try to work around a much needed nerf to the absolute most braindead ability any video game has to offer. Sad sad times to think about what type of human beings are within this community. LEARN TO USE GUNS. This is a shooter.

I shouldn't have to use an inferior exotic to restore intended functionality to an ability.

I prefer using skullfort in pvp, but that will be useless after the patch. i might try greaves.

thing is, i use peregrine greaves to shutdown roaming supers, wells, bubbles, and ambush revives in trials. with the aoe nerf from 90 to what was it 30? i doubt I'll be able to pull off as many double kills, and we don't know if peregrine will still be able to take down supers or if it will only 1hk guardians. i could care less about 1hk guardians, its not worth the risk of closing the gap. supers are high value targets and its what peregrine greaves have been used for since destiny 1!

I hate these changes for a reason I really haven’t seen mentioned: They will break stuff, like they always do, and spend several seasons ‘fixing’ it. And as soon as a fix comes that popular opinion approves of, you guys will be thanking them for ‘listening’. Sound familiar? Remember Sunsetting? Well this year it’s cool downs. And then another sandbox series of nerfs and we’ll be right back at it starting the cycle all over again. It’s an irritating rollercoaster and I want off.

I've only had the one character since Oct. 2014, a Titan. I agree with this message. If you're that pressed for a 1 hit kill shoulder charger equip the greaves and have fun.
