Remember when MULTIPLAYER emotes cost 3250 and now they have the audacity to ask 3250 for everything? Yet skins only cost 1500 BD. Bungie is really trying to force people to buy silver huh...
Also for 10$ the Season Pass should contain premium currency like every single other game in existance. Change my mind.

Ya gotta be kidding me. The Pass nets a couple thousand BD. Sheesh this got upvotes? Ever wonder why this place is viewed the way it is? Either none of you play, or most are idiots. Going with option 2 by the way, because every thing doesn't cost 3250.

I don’t buy everything. Mostly just exotic ornaments and shaders. Maybe the occasional Transmat effect (they’re only 400 dust so not anything crazy) or seasonal armor pieces if they look amazing. I’ve been staying steady at around 40-45k and only getting dust from bright engram random drops and the stuff from all the seasonal challenges. It’s getting pricy for emotes, but a lot is still the same cost as they were back in forsaken.

It’s really rough, and I’ve seen people online who appear to have info suggesting that it’ll get a lot worse when this whole Fortnite collab goes through. Search “Fortnite inflation” to learn more, I hear it’ll impact both games cosmetic economies pretty severely.

The vanguard and Blackrock are printing bright dust to improve the cosmetics of the city walls. The result is it raises the cost of cosmetics for everyone.

Look at the decline in earnable dust and the increase in cost, it's boiling the crab slowly in the pan. Used to easily earn 35k a season by doing basics, now that's like 17-18k.

I’ve been able to buy whatever I’ve wanted from the BD store and still have nearly 40K. Granted I only play one class predominantly… but the events and season passes rain BD on you if you participate. The vast majority of the ‘additional bounties’ during an event are pickup and forget you have them and they automatically complete… so basically free bright dust.
Also for 10$ the Season Pass should contain premium currency like every single other game in existance. Change my mind.
They kinda do it with bright dust. You can buy, like, 90% of the things on the eververse store with it.

Limit broke dust to projections and shaders, while everything else can be purchased for Silver.

I used to collect everything, but since they changed it so we no longer get dust from sharding EV items, halved the amount we can earn from playlists and kept prices either the same or increased them (e.g. shaders), I just stopped. Even though there's a lot in the season pass/challenges, that soon goes buying the armour and gun ornaments, along with the shaders. Because of all this, I just stopped collecting most things, my bright dust is just piling up and my collections tabs for the last 2 years worth of seasons have huge gaps in them. It's nice to get exotic emotes (F*** paying 4000 dust for those) and ships etc in engrams, since they introduced that system and it caught up to when I stopped buying. My pile of bright dust now sits at like 35k, when it got down to like 700 at one point.

This happened because you players demanded bright dust bounties. This was assumed that all players would farm activities and bright dust at the same time. Added to that, we had to spend bright dust to pull shaders. Atleast back then we had a reason to spend bright dust. With shaders gone and the game going free to play, bright dust prices have quadrupled. Besides, none of you should have trouble with bright dust. If you play the game. Theoretically you should be getting near 20k every season.
Remember when MULTIPLAYER emotes cost 3250 and now they have the audacity to ask 3250 for everything? Yet skins only cost 1500 BD.
? No, everything doesn't cost 3250 and you event contradict what you said with your next sentence. Shaders don't cost that much Ships don't cost that much Orniments don't cost that much

由TheShadow編輯: 8/22/2022 12:27:50 PMI'm more bothered by how the shop has removed the sense of value some items use to offer.
-
I’m more curious if the items that you can buy with silver are the same for everyone . It always seem that I’m always that one purchase short from the silver needed to purchase the next item . Almost like the algorithm is calculating it out ahead of time
-
ya know, try looking at the eververse schedule and plan out your purchases, this is what I do. I dont collect everything just what I want. I always enter a new season with at least 10k in bright dust incase that first week or two there's something cool. and I usually try to get all the seasonal quests done for the 4k drop, that affords me one group emote.

The reason for inflation is because we are earning more bright dust than before. Even Bungie too said Seasonal Challenges and the Season Pass is awarding alot of BD causing you to get more than before when it came from different sources. And who cares when 99% of things sold for silver end up being for Bright Dust. I spent $8 on a ship last week and this week it is for Bright Dust. The Guardian Games Vex ornament was on sale for silver for the first two weeks then the last week it was BD. The list goes on...
