Its because of player like you that SBMM was necessary Congrats on only playing quick play and inflate your stats you mad it unplayable for the majority of the player Now they don't care about the top on regular playlist as it should always have been

agree completely. game caters to players that don’t even play pvp much. Like pve caters to hardcore players that are willing to put time into the game, pvp should do the same. Furthermore, i agree with the fact it’s rough for new players but they should really just give a simple tutorial for players like how we have for the entire game. They should create a simple tutorial for the players to understand make them go against maybe player bots for a few matches until they get used to the hectic atmosphere of destiny pvp. The solution i gave really isn’t good as it requires a lot of resources from bungie and i don’t think it’s worth it for them but hey, it’s a problem for them to fix not mine.

If bungie wants to keep sbmm they need to reward highskill players more. Its like doing a master/grandmaster nightfall and getting regular strike loot. This will give ppl a reason to improve at pvp and keep sbmm. Also lets be real sbmm isnt skill based if matches are decided by connection.

I have 2 compromises. Make freelance sbmm. Make everything else cbmm. Make casual playlists cbmm. Make all competitive playlists sbmm.

I disagree. I find the pvp to be more fun now than before when many didn't even have a hope in winning a gunfight, let alone the match. I'd rather have a sweaty experience than play a game mode where I didn't have a chance to begin with before the match even started, and I am having fun doing so.

Have you ever really thought of why now bungie adds sbmm? It has to do with fortnight. That’s right… The fortnight/destiny crossover. Bungie did this to entice fortnight players to play destiny. If they entered pvp with it STILL being cbmm, they would get immediately slaughtered. They then permanently uninstall destiny 2 and go back to fortnight. The addition of sbmm was an attempt by Bungie to retain new light fortnight players into the game. Me? I do terrible during either sbmm or cbmm, so I don’t really care for either. I have no preference.

I personally don’t think sbmm should be in the game for one specific reason. That reason is ego. Lower skilled players want to ego the upper tier players and claim they aren’t good. So since you’re getting ran your kd should go up and ours should go down? Is it really that deep? There’s a lot of connection issues with sbmm and lag. Connection based gives us clean matches so I don’t understand the issue of why we need skill based when we have comp

由NeoReaper82編輯: 9/4/2022 11:08:33 PMBefore SBMM you were avg 2.5 k/d games but now you are avg 1.5 k/d games. Get good and you won't be exposed.

They just need to add more incentive to the comp playlist instead of balancing the game for the dad's that only play 3 games a week no matter what

For me, I disliked cbmm quite alot, cause it always made me play my hardest cause if I had anything that was not decent or good, talking about old sunset weapons I’m at a disadvantage due to how better some weapons are and how little the old ones can hold up But it also made mercy matches and I ran into them so many times I just gave up playing in them in general, I had to try harder then I would like. I stop. The game is being one sided to one or the other side, I stop No joke you talk about people leaving I ram into a match in cbmm and a entire team left one guy. One guy vs a entire team and I didn’t go for him

Hope there would be freelance control/quickplay some day. i still still support SBMM in control/quickplay

Oh you sad you have to face people of your skill level so the casual players can actually have fun again? Boo hoo
-
Pvp is not fun at all.
1. You aren't as good as you thought. 2. How do you think all those casuals felt in matches that ended double and triple score in your favor? 3. Do you really require easy opponents to enjoy pvp in this game? Don't feed me malarkey about connection.

由hate n payne編輯: 9/5/2022 7:02:25 PMCOMP Is lacking horribly for the competitive crowd. This mixed with CBMM added the most diabolical experience for average and inexperienced players. You lose the majority, you face the minority or dedicated players. Bungie is trying to save the game not save a small percentage of players. It is about what “lines” their pockets. Bungie should have NEVER allowed CBMM to enter the game in D1 and D2. It was a bandaid for an open wound or broken bone ie connection, servers and lack of anti-cheats. This was the immediate start of exploiting a system due to trying to retain players and it has backfired horribly in the long run. Everybody and I mean “everybody” is getting humbled with SBMM and it was needed.

Cry me a river then build a bridge and get over it. You're just tilted you can't bully casuals anymore to artificially pad your KD. If that was your idea of fun then you don't deserve to have fun.

1.88 k/d you're complaining about skill based matchmaking. Sounds like you're getting a taste of your own medicine. I 100% expected overachievers like yourself to get absolutely destroyed in skill based matchmaking it's working and I'm so happy for it get good at fighting someone that is your level or go back to fortnight.
