Hi there, I have a quite unfortunate story regarding a resent fashion contest. On the 23rd of December I won a fashion contest on Twitter via the official German Destiny 2 account, @destinygamede. My twitter name is @Zen_Neurobio and my Bungie ID is Zen#1393. At the time it wasn’t clear to me which emblem would be the price as the German Destiny account didn’t provide any information on it. I therefore mistakenly assumed the price emblem would be “Binary Cascade” as many giveaways at the time were giving that one out. Coincidentally I had just won that emblem. When the winners for the official fashion contest were made public, we were tasked to provide them our Bungie ID via a direct message. Since I was thinking that “Binary Cascade” would be the price, I decided to give them the ID of a friend of mine as I thought that that would be a good Christmas present for him. Only a couple of hours later, still on the 23rd of December, I was messaged by one of the other winners and we had a little chat. Among a usual conversation they told me that the price emblem was actually the rare emblem called “Prêt-á-porter”. Of course, I didn’t have that emblem yet, so I immediately contacted @destinygamede again and tried to clarify my misunderstanding. In addition to that I asked again which emblem would be the price as I still wasn’t sure what to believe. I told them that, if it is not the “Binary Cascade” emblem that they please give the emblem to my ID Zen#1393. I also send them a picture of my “Binary Cascade” emblem as proof. I will add screenshots of all my DMs to this post. The DMs are in German as I believed to be talking to another German, but I basically summarized their context already. Sadly, I never received a response from them. I tried messaging them again after the Holidays in German and English but still no response. Therefore, I was left hoping that once they would give out the emblem they would read my messages, but unfortunately that wasn’t the case. After a month on the 25th of January me and the two other winners made a public post as no one had received an emblem yet. That appeared to have worked as the emblems were given out on the following day. Extremely frustratingly though my emblem wasn’t given to me but to my friend’s ID, which I only mentioned in my very first DM. So apparently all my messages trying to clarify the misunderstanding were not read. I am very disappointed that I wasn’t able to receive my price emblem for the fashion I created because of a communication problem. I am confused why there was no response even though I was one of the winners and they told us to write them via a direct message. Is there any possibility that I could still get the emblem? It is not like I noticed my mistake to late but that my messages on the same day were just ignored. I have already tried a Help Request but they told me to make a post in the forums. Respectfully, Zen
